Christmas boxes are the only ones loot boxes. Others - just junk.

Totally agree - no gold is a total turn off for me too! Already have more skill books than I can shake a stick at and over 1200 standard boosters and 1000 premium boosters of all types!

If they doing that, it means someone doing it. Its reality. Some of the players are spending like there is no tomorrow. Im glad someone fund that 10+ year old game, but these new community broke the balance in the game

Bought 205 boxes and still didn't get the T54d. Not to mention I got pretty much all the worse possible drops. Very dissapointing luck with these boxes.

Already had T77 and gsor. Bought a 50 box. Got the T54D, Forrest Spirit (didn't have the 130PM), and JP. Felt kinda worth. Honestly these promos feel pretty good for people who don't play hundreds of games/week and don't have to buy them because I want the one new tank and its a good value. It's a free to play game. You want to play for free? Then play for free! Lots of crew skills books too. I don't have hundreds of hours to grind 3/4 skill crews. I spent the rest of my money for a gold/credits package and a WoT+ with a coupon and I feel pretty set to change out old setups and equip out the tanks and spam gold at all of you baboons for full happiness.
Bought 150 boxes got all premium tanks only K2 missing and got 600k Free Xp + 5 mil credit. Im happy and totally worth it for me. The 150 5x Exp is a nice thing as well. But yeah christmas boxes are the best and i wont buy again till christmas

But be forewarned, the T-54D is a better armoured 122TM, 'Heavy' play style Medium,
...expect less than you wish & try not to fire Gold unless you really really have to, and have a perfectly settled aim, and the target is angled usefully for your shot.

If you have the SU-130pm already and get the Forest Spirit that is going to suck.

I bought two for those tokens, I got T77, but to be honest the only boxes I buy are Christmas ones, but every year less and less... every now and then there's some lootboxes, Battlepass, or some other crap
I opened 5 and got GSOR 1008 in the first one. I guess for the next 10k battles i won't be hitting anything cuz my luck is all dried up
I had similar situation with the emerald boxes, bought 5 cause why not and first box was the Obj 590(auto reloaded Russian medium)
Same first box was k2 and later on char , bought 50 boxes

It’s the gambling part I do not like. Let the players buy the tanks directly. This mechanic encourages gambling behaviours, which lets face it is probably the aim.
skill said that too, and i personally think, that it would actually be a good idea. i'd buy the t54d and emil. (emil just cause i want to try it) also the encouragement of gambling should be banned in all of eu, just like it is in belgium, that would really force wg to think of a way to sell stuff.

Its no fun fact. Its simple fact that has been known for years. No boxes outside of the christmas ones have ever had gold in them. Dont know where you got that idea anyways. Yall are confused from the amount of crying you do every time they add something to the game.

Only Gold in the Boxes were when you have all the tanks and you get a duplicate. Way too many single premium days only. The only reason why I got the loot boxes was because my daughter gave them to me as a gift, it I was going to spend my own money, I never would have spent it on these things.
Hi kill. Pay attention to lootboxes containing 75k (seventy five thousands) free experience, equivalent to 2k golds at bargain Free xp price. I received 2 of them out of 75 boxes
i ve said it again , will say it again once more , you got epic % of the drop tank the very 1st day , after that the algorithm 1st day passes you dont have good luck except the guaranteed.
Ps. If you dont own any of the previous tanks then the newest of the list is extreemly difficult to get. Personally i got jag , gsor , spirit , astron rex ( the new model ) and i had already char , t77 . 100 boxes total . And that was yesteday. ( the streamers get the extra tanks due to the fact they own all the rest. So dont have ur hopes up , unless you want to spend more than 80-100 euros per event )
Honestly, if you’re in the market for a tier 8 premium, and wouldn’t mind a bunch of extras with it for free, the 50 boxes isn’t a bad deal. If you’re looking at it just for the tier 9, it’s not all that realistic. Why folks always gotta cry when they don’t offer you the moon

No gold , no purchase simle as this only christmas boxes worth the money but seems like people dont give a shit about this fact , went for 10 games in tier 9 every single mach at least 1 54d in both team so for wargaming this shit definitely worth it.
300 boxes got all 10 tanks 2m free exp 15m credits and 150 days of premium and bunch of boosts
I bought 150, got 5 tanks I did not have. I think it was a pretty good value. Just wish they would stop retreading same tanks in new skins and just offer the 3D skin alone.
I think there is a bug in these boxes, I opened 10, got 8 single days of premium, and 2 single boosters, I thought the boxes had to have value equal to the purchase cost, so it wasn't technically gambling?
They give you 5x experience boosters too, which WG values about the same price as gold.
If you need to grind many tanks its good value cause of the 5x missions i can grind easily every tree line cause of the loot boxes plus all the other stuff from the loot boxes like credits more xp fir grinding and tank very worth every time
Paying hundreds of dollars for digital content that you do not own is never worth it.

@@RedXlV2 SU-130PMs is actually great for frontline. It's also one of the best credit earners in the game, don't be so quick to get rid of it

you can buy a maximum of 500 boxes a day for the time the event is running.
I opened 50 boxes and got the 54D, this french light and Alembic.
I got the T-77 tank with just one box I got with the tokens. That was crazy.

The question is, if you are only going to spend a small amount on WOT. Is this a good way to do it? I think the answer is no. Wait for the Xmas boxes. I think if you are buying annual premium account, then spend the same amount on Xmas boxes, and use the gold to buy more premium time. You will get a full year premium guaranteed
I don't like the boxes outside holiday ops. For me the only good thing I can say about these boxes is at least they didn't stuff decals and crew skins in them this time.
Wish we could have a small illusion of control when they do over bloated boxes. I have over 800 perm days. I don't need any more. Give me an option to block one of the low end rewards.

I think they make these boxes terrible for two reason. 1) some people will still buy it. So they make a little cash. 2) it makes the Christmas boxes EXTRA attractive to buy, so that entices people that will never buy boxes to rather buy xmas boxes.

As a collector, 50 boxes were just enough for the 2 new tanks I didnt have.

I don't get it. Who buys these? Is the idea from WG here to realease endless NEW tanks through these loot boxes and force tank collectors (gotta catch 'em all) to pay over the odds to keep their collections up to date?
What odds? Its 100 boxes if you are "unlucky" and get the tank after 50 boxes on guaranteed drop. It was 50 for me. These tanks are always repeating. Once you get those few that are in there over and over again, you just keep getting the new ones. But this is no advice. Ive been in the game for 10 years and Im sucker for tanks and dont wish this on anybody. Im missing just one piece because I was on a break. Its the ebr of course. Other 118 T8s I got. Oh, and pelegrine, but I wasnt hunting it because I have is-3a and just couldnt get good deal on the pelegrine for me to decide to buy it. Last time I had it was in black market for like 18k gold which is ridiculous, something not worth even for a whale.

I bought some gold for demounting equipment and emergency gold ammo back in the day when that was the only way. $30 in 11 years of playing. Just presumed WG were fleecing tank collectors by dropping low tier tanks in the boxes along with the odd premium and charging more than they would if they had to try and sell them through the store?

I just returned to the game after a few years break and the lootboxes currently are completely useless. A lot of good offers have disappeared from the premium shop, too.
Basically the monetization has moved closer to some exceedingly greedy games like Raid: Shadow Legends or whatnot where you either need to spend everything to be competitive or just go free to play if you just enjoy the gameplay.

I feel the xmas boxes are decent value. These and the Lunar festival ones, are terrible. Personally, x5 wins is almost worthless to me since I usually only play any given tank until I get I get my daily double.

Why even have a daily limit? The most boxes you could possibly need to get all 10 tanks is 500...could they make it more obvious that they expect every purchaser to buy 500 or less boxes?
I got GSOR from one of two boxes that can be bought with 900 lucky seals (green leaf) each.
I bought 25 and got the Forest Spirit. I already had the SU-130PM

I'm very lucky, I didn't pay for a box, I opened both boxes for free while playing Steel Tracker mode, in one of these 2 boxes I got the GSOR 1008
i think if they even just added the gold into these boxes it would be better even if it was only a small spread like 50-500 gold drops on the 100% drop chance

About the value of the loot boxes ..
Except the fact that they are keeping content behind a paywall that would not be fun , as a lot of players are free to play people .
The worst thing that wargaming is doing , in my humble opinion off course , are the days of premium , with all the respect due , I have 10 years of premium .. really WG ? What the heck I do with 10 years of premium ?!?!? Give us the possibility to exchange it , for silver or gold , for half price , SOMETHING ..
Coming back to the main question .. The value is relatively okey, on this saint Patrick loot boxes I got 3x150 .
( I must say I had all tanks , except the emil 1 that I forgot to recover before opening ) .. in the first 26 boxes , I got both the new tanks ( the T54D and the Alaembic ) and after that 2 more tanks .( so 5 tanks for 115 euro )
The second 150 , I got 4 tanks , so an value of 35750 gold for 115 euro.
The third 150 , I got only 3 tanks , for a value of 29050 gold for 115 euro .
If you tanks in consideration that 30,500 gold is 99 euro , the value let`s say is okey , as you get the rest of the reward extra .
Or considering the fort knox package , 12.500 gold and 12 mil credits , for 99 gold .
Let`s be honest Skill , people will spend money in the game anyway . So instead of buying normal packages in the game , you buy loot boxes and you get a little better value.
( a lot worst value than the xmas boxes , as there I got somewhere around 3 times the value .. around 140.000 gold for the big package box )

I was very lucky, in 100 boxes I got 5 tanks of which 2 were duplicates and I got 20k gold. I received 3 million credit, 350 free experience, 30 days of premium days, 20 manuals for the crew, 2 books 850k crew member, 25 money 50% extra. I think it was worth 80 euros.

That is indeed quite good. I was in just for the t-54 because Im not very fond of astron. Needless to say in 50 boxes I got them both. But only because I have all the others due to collecting reasons.

2% from 100 is 2 boxes. 2 boxes have guaranteed tanks if you open 100. Even they will make 0% chance to get from the box they are still going to achieve 2% drop with guaranteed drop. Think about it.

If you got a tank that you already have in you garage you will get a gold compensation instead.

yeah, the only "worthy" argument to buy these, is the type of argument "i want t54d", otherwise i wouldn't really buy the boxes. atp just make a separate way to buy the tanks, and ppl are gonna be more likely to buy it.

You get at the 50th box always a tier 8 or 9 tank. It starts at zero again after you got a Tier 8/9 tank,
If you don't get a tank after opening 50 boxes, you're automatically getting one. - K2osha
it means that you get a guaranteed tank drop if you haven't gotten one in the last 50 boxes that you opened. So if you buy 50 boxes you will always get atleast 1 tank, but getting 2 or more tanks is quite rare.
Bought a 25 box bundle, got like a week of premium, Forest Spirit and the Gsor from those 25. Not that bad I guess
