Unexpectedly, I found this tank kinda fun to play, a little challenging, but even stock worked somehow (at least against tier 7, 8)
I hated this tank... Until 33 games when I was able to full upgrade everything. I turned my t-34/100 into a scout/support tank. I spot in the beginning of the match, then when I see positioned to snipe, I take advantage of that 100mm vz 44s! The HEAT is questionable as you meet heavily armored/angled heavies. AND YES, I used a lot of blueprints only to find out that the VTU will be just as painful 😞
They say VTU is probably the worst tier 8 tank in the game. My plan is to struggle on this tank and open Skoda T-50 fully with blueprints fortunately there are plenty of them in paid battle pass.
I think Tvp vtu is honestly underrated. it is decently fast, has great dpm with 88mm gun, and has gigantic hp pool. its not easy to play but it has some good strengths. i think it is better than chinese t34-3 for example
This is like a tier 6 with a tier 8 gun slapped on it, except the tier 8 gun is a tier 7 gun.
I would like to see the SU-152 in action 😊🫠

Play it like a turreted TD (Wolverine like). People might complain in comments about camping, but it kinda works that way
With its accuracy? Common, this tank is only playable at first or half second line.
Playing this tank was a painful experience to me. You hope, when fully upgraded the tank gets better or feel different, but i never had that feeling here. The -5 degree an a overall unimpressive vehicle with the questionable low ammo amount of 7500 potential damage (I mean, really?! Welcome 2012.) was nerve wrecking. Every win with the lovely x5 missions was relieving.
Tbh this tank gave me again the feeling, that WG try to convince you through the backdoor to burn free experience to skip module grinds or like in this case, whole tanks. Intended or not doesn't matter, some tanks just suck much more than others.
Once you reach the T9 with AL, your mood brightens up instantly and you wonder, how you ever could question the line.
19:10 I was the bz :DD. i recognized the game immediately after he shot a BZ boosting across that open field who then got sniped by the hellcat. Was an honour to get shot by you skiieeeeeel
Grinding this currently, quickly become 1 of my most hated... the T-34 chassis is great for tier 4, good for tier 5, workable for tier 6, and garbage for tier 7... and it doesn't even has the better hull of the prem tier 6 T-34-85M. You'd think maybe it'll work as a sniper MT at tier 7, but the T-34/100 is designed as "Versatile"... so its gun is quite trollish & not accurate from range, not to mention mediocre mobility, and typical poor USSR vision, oh and the terrible gun depression, can't even try to use hulldown position to make up for it's bad armor...
And when it comes to equipment... Rammer for DPM seems a must... I want Vent & Optics to get viewrange close to 445, but it also feels like it needs Impr Aiming for some reasonable sniping... oh I also need turbo for better mobility... every match I roll out in the battle I question my life choices... what am I suppose to do, where can I go to be useful?!?!?

@@nougan_gamerPersonally i love the VTU, just use the stock turret, with the best gun (which its the 88 vz. 41N **second gun on top row**) give you -8 degrees, which is very workable... you can get -12 with the stock turret and the first gun but your pen is too shit to be competitive IMHO..
The 88 mentioned above is really very nice, and im a gun "snob".. its got mediocre DPM but performs very VERY well.. the VTU is pretty mobile and gets about great, if you can make tanks with no amour work, you will love the VTU IMO, i cannot speak highly enough of its gun..
the t34/100 is defo the shitter of the line, get that out the way its easy sailing..i recommend get the tracks and gun first then the engines, also run a turbo when you get it, untill you get the 2nd engine, then you can drop it for something else if you really want too.
Stock turret is the secret to this tank, you loose a bit in ROT speed and vision but they are not strengths to this tank anyway so its WELL worth the extra gun depression, IMO at least
EDIT: if you dont plan on keeping it, you can just unlock tracks/gun/2nd engine and then unlock the 2nd turret BUT DO NOT EQUIP.. then just grind out the T50 from there. im playing this line alongside my buddy who is grinding it and he did the above, its very playable and even enjoyable with that setup,

Co-incidentally, as I was looking at the modules of the VTU, I also think the 88 is the best gun (the pen caught my eyes), but I didn't know the stock turret gives better gun depression - thank you! BTW, this is only true for the VTU right? I don't think the T34/100 stock turret provides better gun depression (I sold it when I got the top turret, don't wanna buy it just to see that).
I played this tanks years ago and you can surprise enemy who aren’t paying attention thinking you’re a T34/85😂 the 250 gold pen works against higher tiers. Positioning is key
on the recommended module area of the index, I noticed there are recommendations for what order, but because you have to get the tracks before you can get the turret, the recommendations are not exactly accurate. Otherwise I love the index and the videos showing how to play all the different tanks. Thanks Baboon King!
@skill4ltu please make more videos where you say in each tank where to shoot and what are the weak spots
Funny how 90mm guns have 240 alpha and most 100mm gubs have 250 AND some 88mm guns have 260
Edit:Not sure why WG give it -5 gun depression that is words balance.
I played through this thank last weekend, really didn't like it because it isn't very flexible, no gun depression and gun is unreliable. I found myself going places that would be fine in a lot of other mediums, but didn't work out in this thing. But hey, at least it's not the VTU. I played like 20 or 30 games in the VTU and used a bunch of blueprints to get the T50. Wouldn't wish the VTU on anyone.
This was the first tank i actually wanted to look up the new modules feature for... and of course it didnt work. How to get the Tier 7 gun without tracks?????
Use "Improved Hardening" equipment, which amongst other things, increase your load limit. When you can finally get the track, then change out the IH for something else, use the free equipment remove ticket which you probably should have a couple from missions already.
This is one of those tanks that makes you think "is this tree worth it?" I'm 58k xp towards the next tank and thinking about using half of my 110k free XP to skip the rest. This tank is AWFUL.

@@gdema2856no its not.. the tvp is really nice... just use the stock turret and 2nd gun.. -8 degrees... its all good... and the gun is incredible
Why is the aim time so long? Says its 2.4 seconds but it takes nearly 5 seconds to fully aim.
Basically it has destructor from HT, that is why after move it is like 2sec before it starts to aim another 2.4sec. I use enhanced rotation devices, but honestly they don't help much.
I hated this Tank when grinding through the Czech medium line, basically a light tank with a decent gun if it can hit something.

I had often damaged ammorack with it.
I don’t hate this tank, grinding it currently and only real issues are gun depression and number of shells. 30 shots with only 250 dmg is stupid, but I’d put this tank at average tier.
m really strugling with this tank its a pain in the caku against high tiers and the grind is very slow even in top of the tree

He didn't call it "Low" tier, so it's all relative. Since Skeeeel usually play high tier, tier 7 is "lower" tier for him. 😅
most players consider anything bellow T8 lower tier, and has been that way since T10 was added.. what are you smoking?

the stock gun hits absolutly nothing, has no armor and stock is slower than most heavies...
i hated this piece of metal. OMG the 5 dgre of depresion got me screaming way topo much and that dispersion at 100 m got me more than one time
worst tank of the line, that gun depression is god awfull, the gun aint much better... i recommend being midrange and time your pokes and use your alpha (the only decent thing about the gun) dont bother grinding radios or the engine, just get the tracks and gun and GTFO...
Dont let people tell you the VTU is the same, the VTU is actually really nice, the secret is use the stock turret and the 2nd gun, this give you a really nice gun and -8 of gun depression, just unlock the 2nd turret to get out, DONT equip it!!! its a really nice tank, . the t34/100 is worst of the line, grit your teeth and grind it out,after that its all good and gets better and better
Talk and play isnt that easy.
Skill less talk and more focus on game.
Its really not good for first line fights.
