Fang Trigger takes a while to show up but considering they are adapting a volume or 2 an episode we should see it close to the end of this first season.

@@fingerboardtype-d3382 correction none of these are fan made, they were all commissionned by Toei. With that said, the statement is still Correct. Fuuto PI is still the first Kamen Rider Animation in being the first Kamen Rider animated series (all the other animated stufd were shorts or one off specials)

Kamen Rider series should be like this, there are police or detective involved in the story.
I wonder if they are doing a yearful series (42-48 episodes) or seasonal episodes (12 ep per season and wait for months before the next 12 episodes)
I'm betting Seasonal because they've only announced 12 episodes so far. Which means since they are probably doing the 2 part format W adopted we're gonna get 6 cases each Season.

Thanks for the translation, but the push for Fuuto PI in the west will always remain strange while there’s no official way to watch more then the first two episodes of the original series in English.

@@avoprim5028 Nothing against the service of crunchyroll itself, crunchy isn't the joke. The joke is saying the availability of a separate, sequel series is equivalent to the availability of the original series. If somebody wants to watch Star Trek: The Original Series, another service having Star Trek: The Next Generation doesn't solve that.

On the subject of Super Sentai and Power Rangers he brought up, I really would have just preferred dubbed and subbed versions of Super Sentai when I was a kid. Never really liked Power Rangers.
I think a more faithful adaptation would have helped the tokusatsu genre become much more successful outside Japan.
While I don't hate Power Rangers like some people, I have to agree. The fun of tokusatsu is how it takes itself so seriously while being totally ridiculous. Power Rangers...doesn't get that most of the time, like how the Zyurangers--five warriors from ancient times chosen by the gods to protect Earth--became the Mighty Morphin' Rangers--"five teenagers with attitude" who are even more inoffensive goody-two-shoes' than their Sentai counterparts. Saban made it sillier and pandered more to kids, so now that's how most people see Sentai and Rider and such.

@@OmegaChase1002 Man, what they did to Gokaiger (out of necessity, I'll admit) should be considered a war crime: gutting the almost universally-loved anniversary season and replacing cool and charismatic Captain Marvelous with...Troy.

I don't want KR to go mainstream. Not really, at least not reach it to normie levels of mainstream. I kinda always liked how niche Rider has been for the past decades. If it starts getting too noisy it'll just become the next Power Rangers overseas.
People think things will always be better or good if something reaches mainstream. Which really isn't. One day you're having fun and then suddenly Rider gets ruined by a bunch of wannabe experts who will demand major changes, or people misinterpreting stuff to the point they'll make a big stink about it.
I've seen it happen to things like today's anime and superhero stuff(have you seen how shit Marvel comics have been for the past year because of pandering), I don't want it to happen to Rider as well.
As of now I'm already satisfied with just watching the shows, collecting the merch, and keeping discussions to places like these. Call me a gatekeeper I guess but I really don't care. Gatekeeping is good most of the time.
