How did you remove the black clover leaf cover at the top? I have the same model and it must be the worst shredder on the market. Takes forever to do a tiny amount. Everything you put in must be painstakingly forced through, prodded down with a larger stick. Ended up throwing all the branches on the ground and running over them with a lawnmower.
Yes, my husband is a bit disappointed. He removed the branch diameter lock because he couldn't push anything in. You have to force it, and it was supposed to be easier. It is only good for the environment, leftovers scattered over the flower beds.
