You know this is the best and only channel any Pittsburgh fan should watch… thanks for the vids DK I literally agree with almost every take keep up the hard work
Opponents’ defenses load the box and run blitz when Najee’s in, unlike when Patterson is. Smith needs to get Najee the ball in space and on screens instead of telegraphing runs and attracting run blitzes and a loaded box. True: The Colts out played and out coached the Steelers, for most of the game.
Bill Belicheck success against Mike Tomlin was because Mike Tomlin's game plan is always the same and Belicheck even said that. This 1st half running on first down nearly every time is no different than the Country north of us. I don't think Smith is that stubborn but Tomlin is and we all know it or should know it
Nailed it DK. When you've got 3 rooks in on Sunday and down to 8th, 9th dudes on the depth charts, gotta adjust to what they do best. Gotta use who's available.
Watch DK, The defense will probably shut out Dak and the cowboys. There is a fire lit under their hind parts, and they will be so ready to take back the title as #1 defense and make people eat their words. I have spoken. This is the way.
I think the key point yesterday was our offense is trending in the right direction as far as Justin fields. Yea the o line needs some improvements. We ahot our selves in the foot with some dumb mistakes . Those are fixable
Great show DK. Bi totally agree. Defense needs to adjust. You know the cowboys and the rest of the league are going to try the same game plan until the defense proves they can stop it. Cam Sutton will help in a few weeks
They got a lot of work to do in a short period of time. They can't be giving up 27 points and expect to win. Justin Fields made the plays necessary to score. After all that went wrong, They still almost won. Thank you DK and Chris
We had no business losing that game, but it probably means we come home mad against the Cowboys, and go on another run of wins after that. It did seem like a trap game, and sure enough, the Indy offense manhandled our D.
The problem with the line now is the injuries. Khan and Andy built a good O-line in the off-season. But 3 guys with season ending injuries, and 2 more hurt for a month or more.
As long as we're 6-2 going into the bye, we'll be fine. Hopefully the rest of the division is as bad as their current records indicate by the time we have to play them
Are we nitpicking stats now, because Najee had the big screen play that set up a score. This game in particular, everyone seems to highlight the bad stats. The holes don’t seem to open up for Najee than they do for Warren or cordrelle, and the tape shows it
Not to mention the amount of times we see Najee get met with contact before the even gets to the LOS. Give him an o line and we wouldn’t be slandering the man as much as we do. We’ve all seen him have great games, but forget about them when he has bad games like these
Joe Flacco coming in and the inability to stop run or pass are good reasons to try something exotic. The defense seemed very vanilla and just allowed the offense to play their game, hoping for mistakes. Something Joe isn't really known for. The guy can make decisions and can throw with accuracy. Try sub package blitzes, exotic coverages etc to throw the colts off track. This didn't seem to be part of the plan.
Justin Fields made two boneheaded moves. There's no denying that. The thing is, this is the only two bone-headed moves he's made all year. Considering it was a weekly occurrence in Chicago, I think it's safe to say the man has changed. As for the offensive line, I usually describe it to people that the offensive line is one cohesive position. And the reason why five good lineman can play poorly together is because they're not playing together as one unit.
Everyone seems to be under some grand illusion where you think that this was going to be a 1 off-season rebuild from last year's team to a Conference Championship contender. It's not. While Khan made significant progress, there were also significant roster weaknesses. This was always going to be a 2 year rebuild at least.

I honestly think he sometimes forgets his size and mass. My guess is that at college he got used to being more athletic than most of the players and he got away with some moves that he just can't hit consistently in the nfl

Najee ran 13 times for 19 yards…..if I were to slam my 55 year old body, behind the offensive line; I could produce the same amount of yards, and that’s with my oxygen tank 😳

I say it all the time, the game is won and lost in the trenches. This bothers me a lot. I had high hopes for the line to come together after the first 4 or 5 games and that isnt going to happen. Losing all the guys one at a time is killing us. No time to come together at all. Yes this is the worst I have seen the defense in what seems like forever. No changes at all during the game is so so bad. By the time they changed it was way to late.
I don't think Tomlin knows how to coach and prepare for a game like this. Tomlin has this terrible record against bad teams, every year the same thing happens, and he presents a team that looks like deer on the headlights.
Tomlin's arrogance is always an issue. He preaches "nameless grey faces" but clearly underestimates his opponents and that rubs off on his players, especially the defense.
I think Tomlin has one of the all-time greatest stat lines against teams with losing records. You should look it up and reference it with respect to this false narrative.
As a former player in Najee's position, I STRONGLY agree with Najee. It ALL starts with the front line and them creating holes to move through based on the offensive schemes. On top of that, he's a bull (power), he's not a gazelle (speed). He moves people! His take on J Fields, it gets fatiguing to hear on our end, I can only imagine on their end. Even the you guys beloved TJ Watt was tired of talking about Herbig, though he laughed, he was serious.I do respectfully listen to your content due to you being spit on more so than any other journalists in Pittsburgh. I simply disagree with you on this one. Respectfully.
DK, I don't think your take on Najee is fair. He has to perform behind a line that is mostly injured and he hasn't had the opportunity to run behind an established Oline since coming in to the league. Where as LB was able to get behind a mostly veteran line and ran exceptional well. Look, I don't know why you don't like Najee (that's fine), but you should be fair and objective when reporting on him. Lastly, a blind man can see that they stacked the box when ever Najee is in the game. That's a scheme which arthur smith seems to understand clearly. He tries to get Najee running a route and out in space instead of behind a rookie Oline.
We spent preseason talking about Naj as lighter, sleeker, more mobile. Could it be that this is his problem? Does he think he's now turned into Gale Sayers?
Justin Fields is the 1st QB in Steelers history to have 300 yards passing, 50 yards rushing, and 2 tds in the same game. And you Tomlin haters couldn't wait for us to lose so you could moan and whine 😅

The Colts stacked the box and run blitzed when Najee was in. It’s pretty much a tell that they’re going to run when he’s in. Smith has to change it upon early downs-instead of running on 1st and 2nd down all the time-to give Najee and the O line a chance. To me, the game plan was too predictable.
This running game really worries me. Najee just does not run the way he should be as a 245 lb back; as you stated he braces himself before he even gets to the line! I mean we can see that damage he does if he gets some running room but you aren’t afforded that luxury in the nfl, sometimes you just need to put your head down and plow through some people.. especially when you’re as big and strong as Naj

I agree. They shoulda brought some pressure on Flacco. Tomlin said they didn’t do that because Flacco is experienced enough to pick the defense apart when blitzed 🤷🏽♂️… I guess.
Pat Meyer. Not making excuses for him but he’s fitting his blocking schemes and techniques into a (another) new offense with a new mix of players… it’s gonna take time for it to come together.

39 hasn’t produced any splash for two years. I really like him but anyone can objectively see that Elliot has been playing better this season. If we all can agree that Garrett “almost” making plays doesn’t make him great, then it’s time to look at our own players through the same lens. 39 is making far too much to not be an impact player. I wouldn’t rank him on the level of Wagner, shell, lake, Troy, or Clark in team history at safety, and at the moment he’s not even close.
Jumping the gun a little bit.. He was basically a LB last year. He made some pretty insane tackles and was one of our best players even with a cast on. But I understand.. He’s let up on some plays I thought should be easy for him as well.. season is still young!
Honestly it probably isn’t worth signing him again. I like the guy but he’s not worth the big contract, he’s okay - sometimes very good, but just as often pretty bad too. I get that the line is having some issues but I question how well Naj can see the field
This is an average team that for whatever reason you all think is better than they are. They played bad yesterday and only lost be 3. I guess the media needs to stir up something.
DK, agree on the OLine but I think that one of the issues with the running game is Najee, and CP made it very clear, same guys, same blocking, completely different results. It seems Najee is a straight ahead guy and has issues finding the holes in the opposite DLine. With Jaylen and CP injured this is a big problem.
I understand that naj has to hit the freakin hole, but on the same hand…you have to have a freakin hole to hit. Seriously bad O line play….fields is fine as a starter. Back to fundamentals for O line ? Where is our intensity on both sides.
Najee has been incredibly frustrating all year. I’m tired of his extra curricular bs on every single play. He will run into the back of an O-lineman for 2 yards, then get up and immediately start jawing at a defender. Every. Single. Play. Dude, throw the ball to the ref and get back in the huddle. If he put half the effort into finding a hole that he does talking shit to opposing players, he would actually be a decent back.
Najee seems to have bad attitude and seems to be very rude and sarcastic when answering questions. I have seen this from day one of him being drafted. He is not a pittsburgh type of player. I have always thought that they needed to draft a Lineman that particular draft. Warren i alot better. I also want to know when Roman Wilson is going to get on the field? # Dump Najee trade his ass
DK when it comes to Harris play go back and watch the tape...when Harris is in they stack the box because they know it's a run...why do you think players were in his face soon as he touched the ball...but when Patterson was in the back field the defense wasn't stacked and they worried about him going out for a pass
He threw for 300 and something yards, ran for 2 touchdowns, and threw for one. You can't!!! Please tell me you're not a Steelers fan. There are other teams in the NFL

Naj is more wanting money contract doing his job now i can see why the Steelers didnt offer him a new cotract
Honestly it probably isn’t worth signing him again. I like the guy but he’s not worth the big contract, he’s okay - sometimes very good, but just as often pretty bad too. I get that the line is having some issues but I question how well Naj can see the field
typical MT coached game other team no good . we lose. doesnt adjust in time.
Colts were no good huh? 😅😅😅
This is an average team that for whatever reason you all think is better than they are. They played bad yesterday and only lost be 3. I guess the media needs to stir up something.
Harris is to slow to hit the hole. CP was hitting the hole quick. Harris has to know he is a big boy get straight down hill hard
They can never get this line right and with all they invested? Not good!
Couldn’t agree more!
I hate to say it, but Najee is just too slow :(
Hi DK, just had to say that I thought Najee’s answer to your question was ridiculous… inaccurate , arrogant and immature.
Year four of Mike T trying to justify that first round pick.
I think we all love Najee but at a certain point we gotta call a spade a spade

Who you callin’ a spade?

The Sunk Cost Fallacy.
Tomlin flunked ECON 101.
Yeah Najee not getting extended after this year🤦🏽♂️hopefully Jaylen gets healthy soon
Another Tomlin trap game...the team was unprepared and made mental errors, including Tomlin...
What happened 1st 4 games? And in Tomlin trap games we would've gotten blown out. We had a chance to win.
DK when it comes to Harris play go back and watch the tape...when Harris is in they stack the box because they know it's a run...why do you think players were in his face soon as he touched the ball...but when Patterson was in the back field the defense wasn't stacked and they worried about him going out for a pass
Yeah, that's definitely it. They only were worried about the guy who wasn't hurting them. - Dejan
Najee was TERRIBLE.
Yup. Hard to make that your entire identity when your OL can’t run block and your “bell cow” has zero vision 😢
Simply I am done with Najee Harris. Justin is the long term answer if the O-line grows up in time.
Justin fields sucks are defense sucks
He threw for 300 and something yards, ran for 2 touchdowns, and threw for one. You can't!!! Please tell me you're not a Steelers fan. There are other teams in the NFL
So does 'are' grammar' -
Get em DK !!!! DAWG !!!
