Have you considered a cat tree (Or 2) to put at the net area so Marxo & Pollo can lounge and watch outside? That why they won't try to climb web as much for a view?
I think you should change the net to chicken wire so its more durable (cats can't bite through and escape). You can probably leave them outside a little longer without supervision. But, overall very jealous you can build them a catio. I also have 2 cats and one of them loves to go outside and roll on the ground.
