you were beautiful is also the song which frequently came up in charts in Korea for a long time and helped them gain popularity initially. it's one of the songs that everyone knows the group by ^^
Thanks for checking out both mvs and live! and the thing on Wonpil’s wrist is their light band! :)) funfact: They were all JYP main vocal trainees except for the drummer like usually a group would have 2 main vocals but they just happen to debut them all in one band because they (esp the leader) can’t dance 😂 haha
Ahhh that's a really interesting lightstick concept! and that's hysterical that's part of their origin story lol thanks for watching and sharing all the context!
Thanks for the shallow dive ❤ yes they're even better when u watch them live, right now they're having their 3rd World Tour hope u can check out their Killing Voice too😊
It's not exactly a new keyboardist joining the band. DAY6 originally had two keyboardists: Wonpil handled the main keyboard, while Junhyeok played the synthesizer. After Junhyeok's departure, Wonpil stepped up to take on both the keyboard and synthesizer roles. I hope this clarifies things! I would also like to add that this song, "You Were Beautiful," serves as a sort of epilogue to their debut track, "Congratulations," adding a beautiful continuation to the story.
little correction tho because I think you mixed it up. It was Wonpil who was handling the Synthesizer while Junhyeok was mainly the keyboardist. After he left, Wonpil took in charge for both instruments.
Thanks for your DAY6 reactions! I hope you do more. If interested, check out the live English lyric version of YWB. BTW, they also have English lyric versions for Congratulations (YK raps in this song) and Zombie: ruclips.net/video/Q5ufthMyBYI/видео.htmlsi=IJhC1LLApdKEy9u2
