Royal Pirates could be considerated K-rock.. They are great! I really recommend them to you: check their MVS for Love Toxic, Run Away and Dangerous Out.

If you wanna see more korean bands you should check out F.T. Island or CN Blue. Also F.T. Island have their 10th anniversary this year. I Think you will like them both.

They did a series where each member chose a song to cover and then they rewrote the lyrics and changed it a little bit to suit their style or 'liking'. And they sing in english! It seems that you like day6's music and their tracks are different in comparison to other korean bands that debuted earlier than them. It would be great if you listened to their 2nd album, Daydream. No need to make a react vid out of it, it would be just great if you just listened. Probably 2016's best album release, regardless of poor sales and promotion, the album is an 11/10.

Day6's "gimmick" is that all of the members contribute to vocals and songwriting, unlike most bands that only one person sings althroughout the song. even idol bands that came before them only had one or two vocalists (except AoA Black maybe but they don't write their songs.
