These three vocalist have different speciality.. I especially love Sungjin graspy rock voice, but i also can't get enough of YoungK vocal range & Woonpil expressive soft voice..
Usually, k-pop groups/bands divide parts according to what a particular vocalist can do but as far as Day6 is concerned, they can all take up anything and you know it'll sound good because all of them are UP there in terms of range and tonal quality!

Ughh Wonpil’s voice is just so warm and lovely. I remember listening to pilmography and just thought it was such a work of art. I missed listening to his voice when he went to the military. I listened to someday spring will come A LOT meanwhile but now I’m so glad I get to hear his voice again, the voice that brought me so much comfort.

For me personally I LOVE Young K's voice , or his tone. I have no idea about technicalities going into vocals on any front but his voice just hits different. Sungjin is just on another level , i usually don't like vocal fry type thingy that people try to do but he does it beautifully, wonpil absolutely has a pretty voice, like it's clean and pretty. And Dowoon ufff the bass in his voice, guy needs to sing more , I hope he does

You should react to xdinary heroes, they're a band under JYP and work closely with Day6. I would recomend their live versions of Tomboy, Hellevator, Pirates, Drown and welcome to the parade. They've also done a great cover of Day6's Zombie. Their own songs are also very good. Good enough, Strawberry cake and Hair cut are my favourites
It's interesting you mentioned how soulful Wonpil is....I think he gets sidelined a bit in this area because he has a much higher tone vs the other members. You should listen to his solo album- Pilmography (which FYI is highly acclaimed by music critics in Korea and has done very well in the charts), his storytelling really is ESPECIALLY AMAZING there.
i hope katriinka you will listen to youngk's fly me to the moon cover! such a great cover. while were mesmerize by his singing, he did trumpet sounds too. such a talented man (he also makes my heart flutter so theres that too 😂). all of them are talented singers songwriters, and i love that they are getting appreciation ❤

Hi, MCR fan as well here!!! Before I got into kpop, i am so into mcr. And i am sucker for day6 songs that reminds me a little bit of mcr songs, like you can here i dont love in letting go, and the beat of sweet chaos is reminding me of either dead or house of wolves
one of my most favorite things about day6’s songs is their utilization of vocal harmonies!!! this isn’t showcased as much in this video but if you listen to their songs there’s soooo many moments where it’s acapella with these beautiful harmonies that are vocalized in the background. as a music nerd, i love it sm but they know their music theory shit!! here are a few songs: - letting go (rebooted version) this song literally makes me ascend - better better - i like you - headache and you NEEEED to check out “how to love” im not the most knowledgeable when it comes to vocal techniques but something about their vocals in this song scratches my brain just right

the first ever video i watched from day6 was their congratulations x you were beautiful performance at their gravity world tour, and the voice that got me hooked was sungjin's (the guitarist with the vocal growl). ive been wondering for so long why i loved his vocal texture so much and i think you hit it right at the spot! he does it soo naturally that the texture appears to be part of his voice. before their hiatus, he used to sing with much heavier texture but recently he's been talking about receiving lessons to further control the texture to take care of his voice moving forward. also the drummer also sings! haha he has a solo release titled out of the blue (duet with song heejin) and he gets some lower lines in some of their songs. personally i love it when they utilize his voice bcos it complements well with the other singers' typically high registers. thanks for reacting to day6!

The names of the members are: Wonpil, on the piano Sungjin, on guitar YoungK, on bass (My bias) Dowoon, on drums Day6 are also self-produced, especially YoungK is involved in most of their music compositions. Sungjin and Wonpil too. I personally have been following them for a long time and love them deeply, especially YoungK along with his solo career, which I think you might love. I would love it if you could also explore these facets of the members, since they also have their solos and collaborations. It's interesting you mentioned how soulful Wonpil is....I think he gets sidelined a bit in this area because he has a much higher tone vs the other members. You should listen to his solo album- Pilmography (which FYI is highly acclaimed by music critics in Korea and has done very well in the charts), his storytelling really is ESPECIALLY AMAZING there.
i hope katriinka you will listen to youngk's fly me to the moon cover! such a great cover. while were mesmerize by his singing, he did trumpet sounds too. such a talented man (he also makes my heart flutter so theres that too 😂). all of them are talented singers songwriters, and i love that they are getting appreciation ❤

Hi, MCR fan as well here!!! Before I got into kpop, i am so into mcr. And i am sucker for day6 songs that reminds me a little bit of mcr songs, like you can here i dont love in letting go, and the beat of sweet chaos is reminding me of either dead or house of wolves
one of my most favorite things about day6’s songs is their utilization of vocal harmonies!!! this isn’t showcased as much in this video but if you listen to their songs there’s soooo many moments where it’s acapella with these beautiful harmonies that are vocalized in the background. as a music nerd, i love it sm but they know their music theory shit!! here are a few songs:

- better better
- i like you
- headache
and you NEEEED to check out “how to love” im not the most knowledgeable when it comes to vocal techniques but something about their vocals in this song scratches my brain just right

the first ever video i watched from day6 was their congratulations x you were beautiful performance at their gravity world tour, and the voice that got me hooked was sungjin's (the guitarist with the vocal growl). ive been wondering for so long why i loved his vocal texture so much and i think you hit it right at the spot! he does it soo naturally that the texture appears to be part of his voice. before their hiatus, he used to sing with much heavier texture but recently he's been talking about receiving lessons to further control the texture to take care of his voice moving forward.
also the drummer also sings! haha he has a solo release titled out of the blue (duet with song heejin) and he gets some lower lines in some of their songs. personally i love it when they utilize his voice bcos it complements well with the other singers' typically high registers.
