  • When you think of coolers, many people immediately think of YETI. We do to, and for good reason! We have been in the outdoors our entire lives. Cooking and keeping our beverages cold is a huge priority and we have tried virtually every type of cooler out there. As Ian will discuss, the YETI Tundra 65, is really, in it's own class. We can stop looking because we have finally found the best! Keep it Real! #keepitreal #getyourkidsoutdoors #passiontoplate #sharetheoutdoors #bestcoolers #yeti

Nice review and good story! I just picked up a 65 myself. It's going to be mid 90s down here in VA. Going to grab two bags of ice and do some testing myself!

How is it holding up ? Is it true the lids on these things are always warping?

The documentation that comes with the Yeti states right up front to go ahead and sacrifice an entire bag of ice to pre-cool the interior of the cooler. I have a smaller Yeti 35 that I've kept ice in it every day for going on 3 months, 24/7. It is COLD inside and if I were to toss a bag of ice in there it will last more than a day.

Debating between the 65 and the 45. DO you ever think its too big and the 45 would be better?

A bit late to the game aren’t we? No hard feelings! I don’t own one myself just know that there are a ton of bear proof coolers out there nowadays

Im surprised that a $400 cooler performed better than a $25 cooler. Shocking

You left coolers out and accessible in bear county? Amateurs like you create bear problems.

it's Canada - it's all bear country lol. Ive also had them scratch the shit out of my truck when they can see them inside so I've learned my lesson. Amateur? Easy to throw stones from a lazyBoy lounger ;)
