Builders, please verify alignment of the drive pulley with driven pulley on the engine side. You might need to add more spacing on the drive/crankshaft before putting the pulley on. You don't want the belt to be cocked, it should be perfectly straight on the engine side.
Got a problem. In my country I can't get a predator engine but similar. The problem is the jackshaft dismeter is either 18mm or 20 mm. Do you think the cvt kit will fit in one of them
I don't think I got the right bolts with my torque converter. The shaft bolt and the bracket plate bolts. threads just don't screw in how they should and they look different. more spread apart. is that normal or do I need new bolts. if I do what thread are they?
I just put a T.C. On my son's kart.. Having some issues with it. Feels like it's slipping going up hills , the governor is still hooked up not sure if that's the issue , the kart is slow , pick up is good but no top end like 10mph tops. I'm gonna try a smaller sprocket 72 too a 62 tooth. Running a 7 inch OD tire so the sprocket and tire are basically the same size.
I got mine from go power sports and it doesn't look like yours. Mine has a black spring, black cover, unpainted mounting plate, different looking belt. Even the numbers on the belt are different. Do you have any idea why that is??
@@Wmacrum go on amazon and look up torque converter for predator 212 the first one is it. Like the one from go power sports you will most likely need to raise the engine. Thank you for the video! I just bought myself a Torque Converter, the same one you installed and it’ll be arriving tomorrow! I plan on putting in on my Predator 212. How is the torque converter working out for you?? It’s been a few since you posted this video, so I’m hoping you have some feedback? Or any tips/advice?
I have a similar converter, does your cover block the chain? Mine does and i have no idea why. I'm about to just cut a notch out so the chain has a place to sit.
Our go kart has the same motor. I cannot find a video explaining why it could be hesitant to take off. I've looked over the converter everything is tight. The chains lined up well both bearings inside look good checked those. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi I have a modified racing predator 212cc. with governor and oil sensor delete and had the torque converter on and my jack shaft screw is wrong thread what is the jack shaft screw size? Metric? It's a mini bike.
Any idea why my belt doesn't spin? Installed correctly but belt will not rotate with torque converter that is properly spinning, belt has no grip. I don't get it. Thanks for any advice!
The black insert thing you are holding at 813, I did not get one with my kit. do you know what it is called and where can i get one without buying a whole kit
Should I remove my govoner? I have the same engine. But idk if it's worth it to remove the govoner, i want it to go fast but idk if this torque converter will damage my motor or anything, iv been told they are the wrong size bolts
If you do get a billet flywheel or be careful about over revving, the OEM flywheel is basically a hand grenade after a few trips north of 3500rpm.. If you want more revs, after flywheel upgrade you'll need heavier valve springs or the valves will float. Don't go nuts on pressure or you could wipe the stock cam. 8 od 10 pound springs will work.
@@Robinson-Homestead no problem sir, and 1 more question, I want my predetor to go like 50 to 60 mph, what can I do that will avoid a torqe convertor? And keep the govoner? So is it possible to use some of the other holes so the converter sits straight instead of tilted down?

do i need to remove the governor?
How many inches was from the driver belt to the driven belt ??
Not Hector Martinez sorry I sold it.
