Excellent. Sold. I will get them. Not polarity sensitive because of the switch back. all the LEDs are. It happened to me with simple LEDs. Used to have to splice in resistors too.

sorry i know its been a year since the last comment but was wondering if the ambers go on when you remote start or is it the white led only? I like only have the ambers on when i remote start.
If anyone does check the comments, they do hyper flash after a while, but it is only if you run the turn signal for a long time. if you turn it off for 10 seconds that fixs the issue if you want to fix it quickly otherwise it functions normaly. i havent tried with the tail lights being installed as i just installed those this weekend. im a college student so upgrades have been slow but i finally have all lights changed. i will update this post if anything changes

Will this work on the lariat models as well? Did you change up the interior lighting as well? I did not see if you posted a video of it.

Awesome upgrade on the lights Rob, I heard that LED lights are illegal is this true because I wanna upgrade to an LED headlights on my Tacoma.
never heard of bulbs being illegal unless the color was red /blue for forward facing
Any issues with oncoming drivers thinking your DRL's are high beams? (Are you getting flashed)
Nope. DRL on xl and xlt are the headlights. The switchbacks are parking/turn.
Rob, doyou know if they work the same on the Lariat since the lighting is different?
switchbacks won't work on your Lariat. you can go amber only lddy.no/1ceob
I bought another brand (auxito) and the turn signals are way too bright. People get pissed at me. I'm going to put back the stock bulbs probably.

I have an xlt hybrid and just bought the same lights but mine down switch from white to yellow, it’s just dim yellow to bright yellow.
No it’s not polarity, I had that and corrected.

Found my problem. User error. I bought the wrong light
So those LEDs don't get hot? there are some that have tiny fans in them for the always-on.
they have those heatsinks on top so it'll help with heat. they don't run as hot as the halogens so they're good to go
Without airflow, the heat sink is useless. Those will definitely run hotter than the halogens
Played with switchback lights for years. They always burn out

Department of transportation approved some if not most/all states have regulations on the brightness of lights on road. I thought this same thing when I seen how bright they were at night
I am as sedan driver pretty tired of blind people in trucks, with super cheap, toxic led lights.
Thats why when i will get my maverick, i will install the brightest led lights, and will drive behind the trucks.

I don’t have these lastfit lights on the road, stock XL trim. And tons of people flash me on the road thinking I have my brights on lol
