Earthquake XT won't hold up working on commercial trucks, mine lasted 9 months. Luckily they didn't have any when I took mine in and I got my money back. And if you pay for a two year warranty they will only replace it one time within those two years. I went back to Milwaukee for shop use and Ryobi P261 to keep at home.
This channel has quickly become a favorite. We need the big Dewalt 20v MAX impact soon! I know it's quite expensive, but a comparison between it and the Milwaukee would be very interesting as there's a lot of Red vs Yellow in the tool community.
Great independent tests. Personally, I picked up an Earthquake XT last year as I am a part-time mobile mechanic and besides being a bit large as mentioned in the video, it's done really well especially for the price with the coupon discount and added warranty. That said, even before the video started I knew the Milwaukee was going to come out on top though it was nice to see actual hard numbers for each tool.

Lowe's wouldn't take it on nationwide if it didn't hold up, try getting your cheesy product on the shelf in their stores!
You guys definitely need to start selling some merch. I'd definitely buy a shirt and sticker to support the channel. Get with bunker branding, they do a lot of different youtubers merch sales.
Milwaukee has been killing it for a while!! You can get knock off batteries dirt cheap and have one of the best names in the business at a reasonable price! I'm rocking the 12v line for the size and LOVE them!!!!
I like that they’re new from store/factory and fully charged. All reviews are different but none of them are new tools. One is new compared to an old one from years ago. New sub thanks to this video!!! Look forward for more content!
Great channel. Keep up the good work. Just bought a M18 battery kit with impact driver and will soon get the M18 mid torque impact wrench. Thanks to your channel and my co worker told me about the M18 High torque impact wrench that I should get one. It's bad ass he said. Take off any stubborn nuts and bolts. I stomble upon this and check out the advertised torque on M18 impact wrench. I know there's no way that a battery operated impact wrench can do a 1k ft lb or 1400 ft lb for nut busting. And I was right and M18 comes about some what close to advertised figure but still far from actual advertised number. I thank you for your time and efforts getting these infos out to the public. Making true videos about Advertisements figures. Keep up the good work.
I got my M18 Milwaukee off of a tool truck that comes to my work. Paid a little extra than you can find in stores, but I made payments on it and if anything happens to it, the tool truck guy will handle all of the warranty process. I've used it every day professionally for the past 2 years and it is still going strong! Would buy another one tomorrow if I lost it today!
My M18 bite the dust at the dirt track couple months ago. Harborfreight down the road about ten miles. Grabbed one of these Earthquakes for $225. It has a longer shaft on it than the one you demo'ed. Thats all I use it for is to swap tires on the car at the track. Doing just fine so far. Keep you posted thru the year. M18 made it two full seasons ( except for the last race)

I use FLEX( das original )powertools for over 20 years . Polishers , grinders ect. How is this a " new brand ". Much appreciation for not going the sponsored route. This makes for true content.
So about a year ago I switched battery platforms completely from Ryobi to Milwaukee due to a poor experience getting the Ryobi angle grinder fixed (literally months) that just stopped working after 3 uses. Anyway, I have not looked back, I really like the Milwaukee tools and am very fond of the large impact. I hardly ever use my (HF) air impact anymore, though the Thor is quite intriguing. Thanks for the great content, I love your channel!
I only use an impact a handful of times a year, but it's the Milwaukee, so....every time I pull it out I'll smile knowing it's even more overkill than I thought it was!
Indeed! When I pull out my Milwaukee, the first thing I do is make dang sure I’m paying attention. Found that out with the Drill/Driver. Thought I had it in reverse, but it was in forward. “
Flex seems to be a great tool brand overall. They should be given a fair shot which a lot of Milwaukee and some Dewalt fans don’t want to do. The issue that I’ve noticed with those who have received tools from Flex for free, it seems they’re only doing the tests that aren’t pushing the tools to their limit. Maybe they’re trying to break the tools in first but it just appears they are taking it easy on Flex which is why it seems like they are setting it up for Flex to win. You’ve shown us more about this tool that you just got than some others who have had the tools for well over a month now. We know they couldn’t release the video before the reveal but what have they been doing with the tools this whole time? Keep up the good work and I think we all would be happy (maybe not at first) to see Flex push the other companies and possibly beat them. Don’t let them get complacent
Had to watch this highly anticipated video before getting ready for work. Pretty much what I was expecting although HF big Bertha was a suprise 🤣. Let's see if Flex comes out with more powerful compact models in the future. For now it looks like their wood working drivers and drills seem to have been given the all out full beans Hellcat engine treatment, but skimped out on this particular wrench.
Mad respect for not accepting anything for free. Every time I see a video and they say “I received this for free but that’s not gonna affect what I say about the tool” anyone who believes that I got a bridge I wanna sell you. Always buy the tools yourselves and make merch or a patrion if need be and we’ll keep you guys with enough funding to continue buying new tools.
Respect for your integrity. I am a bit of a HF fan, but I do have a Milwaukee 2767-20 and that tool is seriously impressive. I’ve all but abandoned my 1/2 and 3/4 drive air impacts for my Milwaukee, using it for just about everything in the shop and on the road. Maybe there’s something better out there somewhere (and I’m sure I’ll see it here), but I’m in no hurry to find out.
Right around Black Friday Home Depot runs a deal on the 2767-21 kit for like $269. It’s pretty good deal all in all. My older 2763-21 kit I bought from Home Depot around 4 years ago was only $239 when I bought it. It was a really good deal at the time.
Love what you guys are doing. When you can afford it please test the Ingersoll rand 20 V. As a professional mechanic I love it and feel like it is the most powerful impact I've ever used and especially love the Halo light around the nose cone.
Good thing about the flex tools is if you buy this year they have a lifetime warranty on the tool and batteries. They'll replace the batteries 3 times each with the warranty. But you have to register it to get the warranty within 30 days or it's a 3 year warranty.
I know that this is a torque testing channel and yall are great at that. The real challenge to the cordless tool market is the batterys and battery technology. Right now it doesnt make sense to sell a tool only option. They need to to flood the market with batteries, good batteries at that. The tools will follow. Once you are invested in the battery system the tools are cheap.
Agreed very much! respect, you guys do awesome honest & accurate reviews. It was so cool to see how the Harbor Freight and the new Flex stacked up against the Milwaukee. It was also very interesting to see the percentage of claimed for the Harbor Freight, that was one i have waiting to see, Very cool!
It's so nice to hear a channel be honest about Flex and not seem like a corporate shill for them. I'm getting tired of many channels selling out for $300 worth of dung. I will only believe non-sponsored channels like this one when it comes to tools.
There's a lot more than the $550 worth of impact tools and other perks that come along with selling our soul, posting this video a week earlier and getting this tool before everyone else headed to Lowes would be quite a bump in the 'ol views and subs category. We decided we're okay with taking that L though

Love to find a "Bosch PROFACTOR GDS18V-740N 18V Cordless 1/2 In. Impact Wrench" review. I'm still in the Bosch line, they advertise it as... HIGH-TORQUE MOTOR: delivers up to 740 Ft.-Lbs. of fastening torque and 1,180 Ft.-Lbs. of max breakaway torque. Flex was my second choice since don't have any other brand Lithium battery's... Borrowed a Dewalt once, hard to forget the usefulness of Breakaway power. Great job with comparisons! Subscribed!
Man I have the harbor freight and it works great so far. But if it would have watched your channel, I would have gone for the Milwaukee..I guess next time I’ll watch your channel before purchasing another tool Lol. Thanks bro”. Your videos are very informative and well done..👍👍👍👍👍
Exactly what I was thinking about their tool line with no choice of buying the tools separately this was the only thing that made me question not buying into that tool line. I don't want to waist money on a charger every time i need a new tool.
Enjoy your channel a lot! One thing that most videos fail to mention is warranty. In this day and age of brushless motors there are almost no serviceable motor or switch parts! That being said for example a bad "electronics module' for the Milwaukee tool would make it not worth repairing if not under warranty. Throw in the 5 year Milwaukee tool warranty (3 years on the larger batteries) it's pretty much good to go for 5 years. Flex on the other hand has a 3 year tool warranty "if" you register it (5 years on the 24v battery if registered?), not sure what it is if you do not register it. Good old HF has a 90 day warranty and usually no repair parts anyway. Ya I know there are extended warranties some good some not so good.
The first thing everyone wants to do is "ding" Harbor Freight's tools because they tend to be larger and a bit "unwieldy." There's a reason for this... It's the same scenario (for those who know guns) for "HighPoint" firearms compared to say, Glock. H.P.s look like a brick and everyone makes fun of them. But, you can buy a new HighPoint for $175.00 (often less) compared to $575.00 for a nice, ergonomic ( they're not "pretty," either) Glock. World of difference in price, world of difference in size/looks. The reason for both the Harbor Freight and HighPoint tools (a pistol is just a tool) being so much cheaper is engineering. Making a tool that functions well, *every time* is the primary goal. So, it works and costs less, enough that the "average person" can afford one. That was HighPoint whole philosophy, making a firearm inexpensive enough that everyone could have the ability to defend themself and their families/home. Not everyone can afford a $600 gun + ammo + training *BUT* for $175 (and you can get them for less than $150) you can buy the gun, ammo and get some lessons for the same price as the other gun, alone. And, trust me, a bad guy doing harm to your loved one doesn't care about how pretty the gun is that shoots him. Same thing for an impact wrench. When it comes to getting the job done, the car doesn't care how pretty the tool is. Your wife isn't seeing (or caring about) it. The customer *might* see it but, he only cares if you're fixing his car. It's inter-shop rivalry. I bought a new (expensive) tool box. The first thing another tech did was roll his big tool box all the way up the shop to put it next to mine to see who's was bigger. No lie. But, they're ugly. Next comes making them look good, take less space, be lighter and "feel good" in the hand. This takes more engineering and much more creativity. Guess what? Engineering costs money. It's the difference between a car that starts and and gets you where your going (but your kids wouldn't be caught dead in it) and a sports or luxury car. They both do the same job, get you where you're going. One just looks better and goes faster. It costs money to be small and even more money to go fast. All H.F.'s power tools tend to be larger than the other guys. But they work acceptably well... For the money. Harbor Freight only advertises the "off" torque as that's all most of their customers, pro or home user, honestly cares about. Once the really "stuck stuff" is busted loose, the rest is (relatively) easy. If it's got plenty of power to remove rusted, seized fasteners, it only makes sense that it'll have enough juice to screw one back on. 😆 They're also not trying to justify a lot more cost, which the engineers need to make more torque in a smaller, prettier package. And some $$ for advertising. 😉 So, yes, the Harbor Freight is a little bigger and heavier and maybe just a little weaker but, not so as to be ineffective. And isn't "decked out" as much as the "big guys" but... "It starts every time and gets you where you're goin." It will suit the needs of (most) every home mechanic and a *lot* of "pro techs" who are either just starting out and doesn't have lots of $$, maybe they'll decide mechanics is not for them. They're not out a ton of money and they have a good, 'home use" tool. The other techs that buys it just don't care what the other techs think and isn't playing "keep up" (with the Jones', for you old timers 😉). And, believe me, there's a lot of tools bought by "pros" because they want what the other guys don't have or that does tasks they'll never do, just to be "cool" 😎 in the shop. Happens all the time because technicians have a lot of pride and time and work and money invested into their careers and they're very competitive people... And tool makers know it. Why do you think tools come in all those bright, pretty, flashy colors and shapes and lights when they're all going to end up grey from grease and dirt, anyway. (If you use them). Shop for tools on line and the grey ones are always cheaper than the pretty ones. If it weren't for tech's egos and the makers trying to "engage" the mechanics emotionally, all the tools would be grey or black... And a lot cheaper.
I'm glad to see your taking the bulls by the horns. I glad your at least break even on the channel. I hope I can learn from your channel to put out a little better content. If there any way I can help let me know. Great job!

I loved the 'hand rattle' caution sign lol. That's a good consideration I haven't head anyone else talk about.
Thanks for keeping that integrity, were going to do all we can to support you.
I know it's quite expensive, but a comparison between it and the Milwaukee would be very interesting as there's a lot of Red vs Yellow in the tool community.
a co worker has left 3 wheels loose with the dewalt 1/2 inch gun, he consequently went and bought the Milwaukee one, hasn’t left a wheel loose since
@@jamescannone1425 sounds like your coworker's a dumbass
This is the only channel I'm subscribed to that I watch the video as soon as it shows up.
Thank you guys for each and every video.
Another fantastic video! Thank you guys so much! 🙏
This is in my realm of interest
Great independent tests. Personally, I picked up an Earthquake XT last year as I am a part-time mobile mechanic and besides being a bit large as mentioned in the video, it's done really well especially for the price with the coupon discount and added warranty.
That said, even before the video started I knew the Milwaukee was going to come out on top though it was nice to see actual hard numbers for each tool.
Hey I know it’s been a long time since you posted this but I was curious how the mobile mechanic business was going
@@belowzero5817
Good except I've been on leave due to a back injury however there's lots of work out there and a demand for services that can be performed at someone's house versus having to go into a shop and wait for half the day.
Marketing yourself and always expanding your skillset will go well with you in the age of home delivery services.
Hope this helps. 🚗👨🔧🧰
@@ViperSRTnACR oh yeah sounds badass and hope you get better soon thank you !
My new favorite channel! Thanks guys for all the awesome work!
I bought the flex and it is a BEAST! THE charger is loud and sounds like a jet taking off cuz it's a monster charger and has a cooling fan built in! It's awesome folks!. Highly recommended. I'm fact when the employee at Lowes was grabbing the last one on a ladder of the top shelf a guy came walking up the isle and said "good choice, i have that and it's GREAT!" I WAS like" ya right, flex has you walking through the store hyping up the product huh" he says no it's out in my truck right now I'll show you. I got it home and it's awesome! I'm a heavy equipment mechanic so i put a HUGE demand on my tools and I'm looking forward to having this in my arsenal! Lowe's wouldn't take it on nationwide if it didn't hold up, try getting your cheesy product on the shelf in their stores!
Respect for staying independent. I hope you guys can continue to grow.
Another beautiful video, gentlemen. Please keep up the good work, and I am glad us viewers are helping out! Be safe.
I can admit that I love this channel! 💜💜💜
OH BOY YOU'VE GOT TO LOVE THIS CHANNEL ,,, THEY GAVE YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE AND MORE . THAT OTHER CHANNEL THAT TESTED THE FLEX TOOL I WONDER... THEIR TESTING RESULTS WHERE WAY OF AM STICKING WITH TTS FOR SURE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“Casually” pulled the trigger, and...broke my wrist. Awesome and sometimes unexpected power!
I’ve never used an impact tool but always enjoy your videos :)
Thanks!
Been wanting one for years, does it tear up sockets still?
Interesting to see well done comparisons that are unbiased.
Subscribed right after your honesty in the opening of the video. You have some pretty great content, keep it up.
Thank you for the objective testing!
Love the test! Please do a test with IR W7152 too.
Finally a official tissue channel that truly gets it ... plant your flagpole of independence on this platform ... Respect 💯☕👌
I guess I found a smoking deal when I bought my 2767-20 paired with the 5.0 AH battery for $250 at home depot......
I FREAKING LOVE THIS CHANNEL. Almost as much as I love my M18's
Thank you guys so much for staying true and good testing!!
Awesome graph visuals👍🏻 nice review thanks!
Thanks for clearing this one up. Nice to know about the new flex impact wrench.
Hope to see the Makita HighTorque in the near futur.
Great Videos, 5 Stars from Germany, love your Channel.
Good thing about the flex tools is if you buy this year they have a lifetime warranty on the tool and batteries. They'll replace the batteries 3 times each with the warranty. But you have to register it to get the warranty within 30 days or it's a 3 year warranty.
I joined a ponsi scheme once that had similar terms
I know that this is a torque testing channel and yall are great at that. The real challenge to the cordless tool market is the batterys and battery technology. Right now it doesnt make sense to sell a tool only option. They need to to flood the market with batteries, good batteries at that. The tools will follow. Once you are invested in the battery system the tools are cheap.
I love these videos you guys. Very good tests
Love your stuff too, MCT. We have no way to test drills/drivers so we love seeing that stuff from you as well!
Great unbiased review. Love how you guys do a more scientific review based on actual numbers. Keep it up!
A breath of fresh air after the Flex RUclips "influencer" marketing blitz that is still ongoing.
I'm happy I purchased these tools.
Nice job. It seemed very unbiased and I appreciate that
I would like to see the DeWalt high torque against the Milwaukee M18 and the new flex keep up the good work Count Me In for a hat shirt and zip-up hoodie when you guys is March comes out keep up the good work
Love to find a "Bosch PROFACTOR GDS18V-740N 18V Cordless 1/2 In.
Awesome job, keep up the good work!
Down to the facts! Ever heard of the Korean brand Keyang? Would love to see some tests on those tools. Keep up the good work!
Exactly what I was thinking about their tool line with no choice of buying the tools separately this was the only thing that made me question not buying into that tool line. I don't want to waist money on a charger every time i need a new tool.
Patiently waiting for the Makita high torque. You keep teasing it!
Thank you for showing these
Great attitude, keep up the good work!
So, yes, the Harbor Freight is a little bigger and heavier and maybe just a little weaker but, not so as to be ineffective.
Great job!
I still pick the earthquake, bang for your buck, renewable warranty, as a tech I dont need 200 ft lbs more for double the price until I need to loosen a honda crank bolt.
Thank you for your transparency I love this channel
Wow flex can't even beat a old brushed harbor freight. That impact actually impressed me
Brushed tools actually have good power..just runtime and efficiency is poop...
Wow you just confirmed how strong the Milwaukee is. I’ve seen a lot of people say it’s one of the best choices for high torque impact wrench
Thank you for very informative and honest review
Great channel boys That flex 💪🏻 vs the world and them winning every time advertisement is a funny joke!! Keep up the humble head to head comparison and you will be trusted!!
i think a patreon too can help you guys too, you can set the prices too, im pretty sure a lot of folks wouldn’t mind paying a dollar or more a month to know which brands are all talk and which brands actually have a solid product
Thanks for the great information video. You don’t have a favorite tool. I know from experience if don’t turn down the torque on the Milwaukee M18 Fuel half inch drive impact when putting the lug nuts on a F-350 CC 4x4 dually you’ll snap the wheel stud, I’ll keep my Milwaukee’s. Have a blessed day & God Bless
This is the test I have been waiting for!!!
Excellent revue. I'm glad you finally got a hold of the FLEX High Torque and was able to put it up against the M18. Other channels were hyping up this wrench so I was curious if it was hype after all. I found it strange that the EQ and FLEX torque plotting was similar during all the tests. One might assume that Chervon may be EQ's manufacturer, or at the very least licensing out their specs to HF.
I believe they just make similar power. The HF is brushed and much larger, I dont imagine any parts are shared.
@@TorqueTestChannel Didn't know that one was brushed and the other was not. Thanks.
BTW, because of your channel, I bought the M18 mid-torque because of its performance and price. Thanks again.
Looking forward to the dewalt high torque test. Great job as always with the channel.
Bought a FLEX, tried to call in fone number to register info. Tried online first & couldnt get to step 4. So thats when I tried to call. Get answering for extension # , dont know one. No main line, called repair, same thing, couldnt reach. Box said 1/2, think it was a 3/4, none of my 1/2 fit! Lowes very cooperative, got my money back. MY CONCERN was, if I cant reach them NOW, how will I to get lifetime warranty??? NO THANKS!! Going Milwaukee, worth more, pay more, & more dependable. Thnx for the video. Already subscribed.
Awesome review sir!!! I love this channel. 😎
Two days ago i bought m18 1/2” impact wrench,
percussion drill and 1/4” impact driver
They are hell of a tool I’ve already split some bolts
Thankyou for not selling out. I'll make you a deal, that a ton of folks will agree with, you don't sell out, I won't unsubscribe lol jk keep up the good honest work gentlemen
