    Would absolutely love to see more MCDM stuff. As a Patron myself I really enjoy the ARCADIA subclasses. The warlocks especially *chefs kiss*

    I've been looking forward to your reviews of the Arcadia classes. I think they opened really strongly with the Titan Heart; it definitely stands out. I've been playing as their Hag Warlock and it's a tremendous amount of fun.

    So this is basically the rune knight subclass but for sorcerer, neat. I wonder if we’ll end up with subclasses for each class that let you grow bigger, imagine a whole party that can turn large or huge when fighting; the scariest adventurers that get countered by a small room, sounds like a hilarious campaign.

    interesting take on expanded spell lists for Sorcerers, only available in it's form. Nice upfront damage stuff which allows you to take more utility stuff on your main spell list. Assuming mage armour, AC13+dex (say +3, maybe) and an additional +2 titan form (AC18), then shield 1st level spell(AC23): you could frontline OK. But a single dip in Fighter at 1st level, ditch Dex, 15str, platemail and shield, no weapon, one free hand. AC 22 in form plus shield spell AC27. Not too shabby. Quicken spell metamagic to do something on the action turn. Halfling for sure.

    Interesting subclass. I do agree that the low health pool is gonna hurt a lot of times if you get into melee.

    I have been thinking of starting a campaign using battlemage (magic people who are good at physicals combat) and I was kinda disappointed that i couldn't do sorcerers, Thank you for making this video now I can do that campaign.

    Very interesting subclass. Titan smash! Ranged attack would help with combat and keep your low hit point self safe.
    Ouch, comparison to cantrip damage took the wind out of my sails with this one.

    This seems like a better version of the giant soul sorcerer UA, which I absolutely love! Will definitely be transferring a build over from that.

    As a gestalt player, I can't wait to get my mitts on this lol. I'd actually love to pair this with a Swashbuckler Rogue, and just crush the enemies that dare break from the herd while dropping devastating area damage on the ones who foolishly group together. A dip into hexblade would let you use charisma for attack and damage or a dip into paladin for smite, warcaster for magical opportunity attacks and help maintaining concentration... I can't wait to get started

    I'm definitely considering a homebrew monster using this subclass for my game - maybe 2 or 3 of them since we have a fairly large party

    Might be fun, as long as you don't have to fight on a boat or smaller dungeons where transforming might be rather cumbursome...also if you multiclass into a paladin (at least 6 lvls) grabbing heavy armor and a tough or something, you won't get the main feature at 18, but might increase the potential for being tanky...

    Dosent the text specifik said: When you make a (MELEE) weapon attack, you can use Charisma, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls? So the ranged option, cool as it would be dont really seem to appear, as an option, or is it just me who missed something xD Nice video BTW :)

    I guess that's Kaiju Soul sorcerer, but those spell names are too cool to be lvl one. If I`m no mistaken some spells that where listed already exist in the game. I would sleep on that for a while to rebrand those lvl 1 spells cause I got what the ideia of them are. Even play with the ideia of Improved cantrips, like a Elemental Spark that enhances the magic nature of some listed cantrips to act like those "new" spells.
    Like:
    Mold Earth becomes Quake.
    Shape Water becomes Glacier.
    Dancing Lights becomes Daybreak.
    Control Flames becomes Cataclysm.
    This kind of evolved forms cause the sorcerer is imbued with the primordial spark could fit like a glove. Even making players pick those not so usual cantrips.
    Guess I have a theme for a homebrew subclass now. Thanks ^^

      @@URGE PS I just had a thought; if you're worried about not getting temp hp with this subclass then I'd suggest going with the Orc race from Monsters of the Multiverse. Their Adrenaline Rush ability is a great way to get some quick temp hp. Also their Relentless Endurance gives them some tankiness to ensure that you don't go the way of the wizard and die of 1d4 damage.

    My only complaints about this class is the ability takes an action, and the extra spells can only be used when transformed. I understand the economy for the transformation, it needs balance, but I wish that at later levels we could do it for a bonus action.

    • @briegroncal1551
      @briegroncal1551 2 года назад +1

      While it takes an action to use the feature of transforming, it is later supplemented with gaining two sorcery points every time you transform. This means that you can quicken spell whatever you want, then transform as an action. Like getting away with a free quicken spell

    • @1rotzy
      @1rotzy 2 года назад +1

      @@briegroncal1551 yeah, I guessed that would be the go to combo if someone did this. It just sucks if you wanna use your shiny new martial weapons, and you gotta wait an extra turn to do it.

    • @briegroncal1551
      @briegroncal1551 2 года назад +1

      @@1rotzy yeah, I kinda agree, maybe if there is a multi class with paladin, a quicken spell could be used with booming blade or green flame blade,combined with a smite for crazy damage?

    • @1rotzy
      @1rotzy 2 года назад

      @@briegroncal1551 I almost feel like that would be a waste of a Stat though. You need a decent STR score for Paladin, but your replacing that score with your charisma. So I feel like you could get more mileage if you put that score somewhere else. Not a bad idea though.

    • @Fyngys
      @Fyngys 2 года назад +1

      @@1rotzy if you were going paladin you'd want str for heavy armor minimum requirments as well though, since the transform keeps your armor and gives you more ac plus the shield spell you end up being really tanky, plus you only use cha for weapons while transformed, normally ypu have to use str anyway
