Mr. Tubbs, I've watched a lot of your videos and have come to the conclusion that you have the best vibrato I've ever seen. It's simply amazing the way you can shake the A and D strings with your ring finger! Love your playing.
I am so glad this pedal is out and am even happier that you made such a danceable opening song. I twirled around so much dancing to that song I nearly tossed my cookies. Thank you for being so awesome.
Excellent sounding pedal. The wide sweep of the eq makes it great for multiple guitars and musical situations. Your superb playing of course helps with the demonstration .
Guitar nerds world wide benefit yet again from your vast experience and skills. It's such a help to have such a great starting point with a new piece of gear. Something the little booklet just cannot provide.
Smooth, wonderful, amazing, and so on. Stacked with a booster like a TS9 up front and you've got tone for days and days... Now, if I could play like you I would just retire and say "yup, I've done it".
Shawn, superb as always! I second the comment above for an album call out! However I think an updated pedalboard video is due ... for both your Opry & full board. Some of the best tones i've ever heard came from your Opry board video. And of course your fingers.
Shawn, we need you to break down those licks... Why not down some lessons here on YT or even better, pair a secondo video to the ones you do where you actually explain what you played?
Reading the comments is a bit funny. Shawn with lots of love brother you wow us with your phrasing and musicality. That consumes the comments. Regarding the pedal demo. Great job. I’m interested in this pedal so I guess that’s why I’m giving my opinion. I can see me ever running the gain full tilt as you did in this demo. I think 🤔 the gain was lowered once and to my ears that was the most organic warm sound. Yep we wanna see what she’ll do but....... blessings to ya always.
As ever, i just want to buy an album of your music. PS, interesting; over on the Andertons channel, this pedal isn't going down very well, which, i suspect is the exact opposite of the reaction here. Yet another excellent demo!
TheDogpa Don't worry, i have already seen it! There are three channels that I always check out for guitar related demos/reviews/whatever. Shawn Tubbs, Pete Thorn, and Tom Quayle. These guys are all excellent musicians, who not only know their music, but are so good at understanding pedals/guitars.amps etc. that when they demo something you just KNOW they are showing you all the ins and outs that you need, to make buying decisions. Only problem is that were I to buy something based on their recommendation, i could never make it sound as good as they can. Because the real magic is not in the pedal/amp/guitar, although there certainly CAN be magic there, it is always in the hands of the players. And these guys are real players. Now i'm not trying to denigrate the Andertons guys, they do what they do, and are certainly popular. As i have said elsewhere, i am not the greatest fan of their musicianship (no names, but you can probably guess who i mean) with one or two exceptions, one hailing from a Scandinavian country, of course. But i realise this is down to my tastes, rather that anything else. De gustibus, non disputandum, as they say. What an age we live in, where there all so many channels, which cater to so many tastes: if you're into Metal, then there are plenty of channels that cater for that. Ola England, for one. Not my particular taste in music, but i enjoy his sense of humour, and in his field, a fine player, too. So much content! Such variety! We are so lucky to have all this content available to us.
If I were in the market for this pedal (which I'm not as the Barber Gain Changer and Way Huge Drive give me all I need) then youtube has served me well today. The same pedal in two videos side by side in my subs. One from you and one from Mike Hermans, the two best players that the channel has to offer
I kinda, kinda, kinda liked it.. ;-). The Redplate sounds yummy too. I had a Redplate Blackverb which I stupidly sold when I joined heavier sounding bands. Still miss that machine. Anyway, stellar demo again. I dig the way you dial in the amp (not too bright) and set the pedal to get those thick syrupy tones. But, I bet you can even squeeze some majestic myxolydian lines out of a chihuahua. :-D
Actually dialed in the same eq voicing over and over, and sweeping to fast trough the eq knobs for my curiosity...bit bright in upper mids the way you set it most of the video...
Shawn..how would this compare to the JHS Morning Glory. I have the MG on the board for a leave on slight break up into clean amp. but I want more gain sometimes and more control over the bottom end..I love the feel of the MG though , the compression etc. Will the Pantheon get the MG feel And tone with more options?
Shawn Tubbs No worries. I only mention it because on some pedals, using the low gain settings just to "add flavour" to the amp is one of my favourite uses (particularly amp in a box style pedals).
Berta? I tend to be more concerned with tone than perfectly articulated dialog. I'd love to hear your highly educated descriptions of tone in your next demo video but don't be upset when I go after your technique, musicality and overall command of the guitar. I can only guess that your focus is probably pointed toward pointing out peoples flaws and imperfections and not playing the guitar. HEY!!!?? Maybe I'm wrong Berta!!! Maybe you're a complete master of your craft and are just waiting to unleash your talent on the world!!! Post a video!! Something tells me you're a master of... something....
Shawn Tubbs really and truly sounded great to me. I have this preordered and look forward to it. Man you’re such a monster player. Remember the jealously that offends so many is of “your” making 😂👍🏻
Pete Thorn, Mike Hermans and this guy are like my G3.. there are a lot of outstanding players around but these 3 have something else
R.J. Ronquillo and Shawn Tubbs my favorite
They're great for sure, Check out Doug Rappaport
@@cast390 Yeah he is amazing. Also, Alberto Barerro is great.
Can't forget JayLeonardJ. His licks are finger licking good!!!
@@lhsatch he’s a great player .. I’m such a grump though that sometimes he’s just to up for me … that’s on me though.
I believe my ears have just inhaled the best sounding overdrive pedal in kinda like ever. Great demo video.
This is easily my favorite overdrive from Wampler. Your demo showcased this really well!
I love my Pantheon only I need to learn to tweak it really well thanks for an excellent video
This and a Tumnus Deluxe. Do yourself a favor.
Mr. Tubbs, I've watched a lot of your videos and have come to the conclusion that you have the best vibrato I've ever seen. It's simply amazing the way you can shake the A and D strings with your ring finger! Love your playing.

No one does gear demo better than Shawn!
Excellent sounding pedal. The wide sweep of the eq makes it great for multiple guitars and musical situations. Your superb playing of course helps with the demonstration .
Killer tone and licks. Best demo
Great demo Shawn! Thanks. I just got one of these, love it. My only problem is hearing any real difference in the various overdrive switch settings
Guitar nerds world wide benefit yet again from your vast experience and skills. It's such a help to have such a great starting point with a new piece of gear. Something the little booklet just cannot provide.
That bridge sound though 🤤👍🏻🔥
Great Video! The best demo I've seen on this pedal.
Smooth, wonderful, amazing, and so on. Stacked with a booster like a TS9 up front and you've got tone for days and days...
Now, if I could play like you I would just retire and say "yup, I've done it".
So many pedals! However this give me the opportunity to watch you play. Great video and great sound.
Great playing as always Shawn.
The right 'voice' switch is soft clip down, hard clip up, both in middle.
Well, that was amazing.
Shawn, superb as always! I second the comment above for an album call out! However I think an updated pedalboard video is due ... for both your Opry & full board. Some of the best tones i've ever heard came from your Opry board video. And of course your fingers.
The pedal sounds pretty good, but your playing is always great!
Thanks for this video. Good pedal. Good demo!!!
That lick on the Red Friedman … 😛🤘🏻
The end of the lick is like a gymnast sticking the landing!
Damn, Shawn, stop making me want to buy more overdrive pedals :) This sounds great, thanks for the demo.
I can’t get over how good this sounds I prefer it over the KOT and I have booth
If only the gain settings were footswitchable. Could there be a deluxe version in the pipeline with this feature?
Shawn, we need you to break down those licks... Why not down some lessons here on YT or even better, pair a secondo video to the ones you do where you actually explain what you played?
That would be amazing!
Wow Brian outdid himself with this one.

Yeah sorry about that. I was more focused on the 3 position gain switch.
As ever, i just want to buy an album of your music.
PS, interesting; over on the Andertons channel, this pedal isn't going down very well, which, i suspect is the exact opposite of the reaction here. Yet another excellent demo!
You should see the demo by Tom Quayle. He makes it sound awesome...not in a cool song like this, but you'll dig it, I'm sure.

We are so lucky to have all this content available to us.
Rob and Lee made this pedal sound terrible... that’s why.
If I were in the market for this pedal (which I'm not as the Barber Gain Changer and Way Huge Drive give me all I need) then youtube has served me well today. 1:03 what brand of guitar is that?
Suhr Classic

Does it seem to me or this pedal is actually distortion pedal as well?
Amazing phrasing....do you have a patreon with pdfs? I d really love to subscribe.,,cheers from Italy!
Great demo!!! Thanks!
Fantastico !
This pedal sounds mega fat! I want one!! How was the feel of it Shawn? Unbelievable playing btw 😉
It's not overly compressed. Feels great!
I’m confused, I heard a lot of early Satriani licks
Cool intro song. Kinda like a shreddy Toadies.
Actually dialed in the same eq voicing over and over, and sweeping to fast trough the eq knobs for my curiosity...bit bright in upper mids the way you set it most of the video...
Hope you don't mind me borrowing your licks. Very tasty my friend! Top review!

Will the Pantheon get the MG feel And tone with more options?
They're both based on the same circuit so it should be close.
I CAN feel the sponiginess ..., wellcome back MI Crossover/SuperBluesPRO in a more reliable form....
Tubbs plays so Fat 👍👍🍺🍺🇺🇸😁🎶
Constructive criticism: I'd have liked to see the full gain range from zero.
Yeah sorry about that. I was more focused on the gain switch and the range it offered. Thanks for the comment and for watching.
Shawn Tubbs No worries. I only mention it because on some pedals, using the low gain settings just to "add flavour" to the amp is one of my favourite uses (particularly amp in a box style pedals).
Kinda, kinda, kinda, kinda... like a 14 year old...

Haha. Shawn resist the urge to peer into the cesspool of the youtube comment area! 🙏🏿
Brett LaCasse Haha, I know I know... Just this once? I know you're right. Thanks man.
4 followers vs 14.000 for Mr Tubbs. Looks like we have a kinda, kinda greenhorn in da house.
