I remember going to Disney World for the first time in my life. It actually happened this year in January and it was me and the Band. With that said, we did perform in one of the Parades which was probably one of the most exciting things and nervous things in my life. I’m glad to see this list. I unfortunately haven’t risen half of em, but the ones I have will be cherished in my memories. I am actually a Toy Story fan, and you can imagine my excitement when we went to Holly Wood Studio’s. And what made it more exciting is that Slinky Dog has been my favorite Disney character since I was 2 and has kept that record over the years. I’m 16 and the Springy Coiled Canine still has a place in my heart. So when I walked into Toy Story Land blind and found out Slinky Dog was a Roller Coaster and one of the main attractions in the Theme Park, my 16 year old self couldn’t help but look like an insane person and jump around like a 5 year old. Marching in a parade is fun but can also be very, Very nervous. As the flags that Disney give you afterwards, you are “Selected to Perform for the World” so a lot of weight can be put on your shoulders. Along with that, we are taken to a back stage area a little ways behind Splash Mountain and the train tracks that run behind it. It’s where Band members can dress up in their uniforms, practice their music (btw, the music on the speakers is played louder during this time in Adventure and Frontier Land so you can’t here us). What is also cool is this is also a storage area and where they set up the floats. Now since your in the parade, you aren’t able to watch it afterwards as your time and effort for the rest of the parade is to take the uniforms off, put away heavy instruments, and make sure your back out by the time the parades over. Where they let the band members out at is usually at different locations. My band was let out around the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I don’t know if the back area is the Disney Archives or not... but their were some props and old animatronics back there. Most were nothing more than Exoskeletons but there were two I could make out. One was a slender looking Santa Clause that was facing away from everything which I can only assume is Jack Skeleton. The other is what I can assume, an abandoned Animal Kingdom ride animatronic that was a safari jeep with an animatronic baby elephant in the back. Unfortunately you can’t take pictures back their so I couldn’t get some pics of these two. I have to go off memories. Hope my Disney experience was a bit interesting for y’all fellas and hope to see y’all soon.
I love the free swinging seven dwarfs cars, makes it such a fun yet gentle/smooth coaster. Tower of Terror legit spooked me for all elevators when I was a kid. Was holding on to side rails in elevators for months. I was thinking that Test Track was v2 of the slot car system, with the ill-fated Rocket Rods being v1 and Radiator Springs Racers v3. I guess it's the first version in Florida?
@@tomodaphne oh yeah, the fact that the chicken exit is also a service elevator made by Otis doesn't help. (Yes, Otis helped build the ride mechanism for the drop shafts)
I remember my first trip Disney World when I was 2/3 and we went on the little mermaid ride and I Was streaming because it had the massive drop going backwards 😅
I am from Hong Kong, and I would like to mention the Grizzly Bear Mountain Ride in Hong Kong Disneyland. The ride is similar to the Expedition Everest and Big Thunder Mountain, with sudden drops and the ride go backward. It starts with a average speed and then fall backward and then go really really fast. I can feel the wind going along my hairline. :)

I remember once googling how fast space mountain is right after my trip from Disney in 2019. I was shocked to learn that space mountain is only 28mph while something like Slinky Dog Dash is 40mph!
well also because inside and the other is an outdoor, but it also has to do with the length and how it was designed. Slinky is more made for families with little kids (ex. 7 y/os) and space mountain is more of an teen-adult ride.
