Think you for the reply nothing like getting away and seeing places like in Mexico these videos teaches and make you feel safe and also let's you know that the people are nice and gives good housepitality to travelers and that pump the gas for you in the us the only place l know that still does that is Oregon Portland so keep it up God bless you guys and stay safe out there.
Awesome content guys! I started watching your channel today and it bring to me a lot of memories. I remember going camping to Bahia de los Angeles (Playa la gringa) San Luis Gonzaga and San Felipe.. Thank you for sharing all of this adventures. Greetings from Arizona 😎🤙🏼🙌🏼
We’ve watched your as preparation for our trip to Baja. We have been here a weeks, currently in Geurrero Negro. It’s fun to go back and see your stops compared to ours. Gonna hit that hotel on the way back! Looked awesome.
Gotta watch out for cockroaches that like to hitchhike from that spot. Super awesome spot. I’ve been there when there was pods of whales out there in the bay. The cockroaches also like to hang out in those orange out houses. 🤙😎
Yea, laundry use to be a problem for me in Baja, then along came COVID 19 and I learned to do my laundry in a dish pan. And now I still do it that way because I only need three sets of cloths. Wash, Dry, and Ware set.
We took the road to Bay of LA before it was paved too. Wiith it being paved, I'd have expected more campers. Glad it is pretty much the same. Interesting conglomerate rock formations. You might call it sandstone, but it's too pebbled for that classification. 👍❤
Awesome! Wondering if you mind sharing the dates you were there? I’m wondering about weather norms and how cold the water is this time of year. Also, did the starlink function properly in Mexico?
Thanks! We were there in the middle of October and the temperature was between 85-90F. There were a few windy days but still nice and the water was nice and warm for swimming/snorkeling :) The Starlink is working great here in Mexico! If you’re coming for longer than 2 months you may want to get the roaming plan( we didn’t and it still works fine)😎👍🏽
Beautiful video! We love snorkeling!! A couple logistical questions though... where are you filling your fresh water tanks (and is it drinkable) and are there a fair amount of dump stations? How are the roads? Also, roughly how much are the primitive beach campgrounds? We're usually on the "non plan, plan" but we would like to have some idea of what services are available. My Google searches are a little scattered and dated. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!
There are plenty of purification water stations where they can fill jugs and sometimes trailer/camper tanks. It’s drinkable water but we would still buy water for us to drink because we sometimes connect directly at an rv park. That said water, even alkaline is super cheap in Mexico. There are enough rv parks throughout Baja, which are generally $15-25 a night, however I’m sure you can stop and ask to dump for a fee. We actually have a composting toilet so it’s less of an issue. Primitive campsites run around $10-15 (there are also wild camping sites if you use iOverlander). And the roads have greatly improved, especially the 5 down to the one. However we highly suggest only driving during the day and there will be some sections where the main road is being repaved. Happy to answer any more questions! Thanks for your support and for watching!
Just started watching today, loving your videos. We can't wait to get to Baja. By the way, I really like your sun hat/ straw visor...where did you find it?
Thank you!! When are you going?! And I got the sun hat at a Marshall’s, but I saw a few in San Felipe when we were there. There you’ll spot them rolled up ;) or maybe try Amazon. Glad someone likes my big hat - if you’re a high bun girl, it’s a must!
@@weekdayadventures we're going in June. Your videos are very well done, informative and relaxing. Keep them coming!😊 Looking for a hat on Amazon, but your's looks nicer and sturdier.
I wouldn’t recommend:/ the hill that you have to go over to get to the beach is rutted and rocky. I had to use 4 wheel drive to get up and over. There is camping just down the road that is more suitable for bigger rigs👍🏽
We weren’t worried about it at all. Felt safe the entire trip. There are many people traveling to Baja every year and rarely does anything like that happen👍🏽
I've been going to Alphonsinas since the early nineties. Haven't been in about 10 years but we used to get a huge fresh fish and shrimp dinner for 4 with margaritas for around $60. Times have changed since Alphonsina died and her boys took over.
Beautiful video welcome to Mexico
Thank you😎
Food in Mexico is really fresh, good and cheap!😀 Baja California is beautiful! nice video!
Yes!! We’re enjoying the food very much. :) And thank you!!
You captured the magic! Beautiful really.
Thank you!

Will do!! We fortunately don’t have to use the out houses but thanks for the heads up👍🏽 We love Gonzaga Bay and can’t wait to go back!!

Wow, we can’t imagine. That must have been a long drive! And thanks for the clarification and for watching! ❤️
I can't believe how big the market is now! A great place. I haven't been back since before the road was paved. Good for you guys.
Thank you!! We absolutely love Gonzaga Bay and hope it stays quiet now that the 5 is so great.

@@weekdayadventures wow, thanks so much!!
We used a port poti and dug a hole and buried the sewage. That was about 17 years ago and the road was not paved at all past Puertocitos.
What satellite internet system is that? And how well does it work?
It’s a Starlink and as long as you have a clear view of the sky it works great!

I’d wait until spring then and head to your local marshals/tjmaxx they should have them in by then. :)
Totally changed from 20 years ago way way upgraded!! And expensive!!
💯 lol but delicious none the less 👌
No sé llama Baja.
El nombre es Baja California
Beautiful. Thinking of future plans and bringing our dogs. Where were they when you were in the restaurant at Gonzaga Bay?
Thanks! They let us bring our pups in while we ate;) we found a lot of places in Mexico will allow dogs. Safe travels!
Beautiful place, what month were you out there?
I believe it was the end of October👍🏽
What's the restaurant name and location?
The restaurants name is Alfonsinas and it’s in Gonzaga Bay. :)
Could our 30ft class C make it down to the sand, worried about getting stuck.

very nice camping guys but what kind of antenna is that ? o what service is that? can you share?
Thank you! And happy to. It’s Starlink (:

What about them?

This place is for gringos para mi mejor san felipe
👍🏽
U paid way to much for dinner, they saw u coming. There is no way to justify a $90.00 meal , no way.
We agree the menu was pricy but well worth it. 👌🏼
