Well, the overall plot of the _Arabian Nights_ is the queen _spending_ many a night (1001) with the king, telling him the stories.
Also one of the very first scenes is Aladdin in a harem. Since he's poor and can't pay them that's why they all turn their noses up at him.
I miss the days when Arabia didn't cover their beautiful women up and actually respected them...

Fun fact:
In the original version of this song, instead of "where it's flat and immense and the heat is intense, it's barbaric but hey it's home!" they had "where they cut off your ear if they don't like your face, it's barbaric but hey it's home!"
Disney decided not to go with that version because it seemed inappropriate for a children's movie. But you can still find that version on RUclips!
They changed it a year or so after its initial release, I still have a vhs of the original with those lyrics as well as the Aladdin audio cassette with it.
nerdygirl101 funny how they didn't want that version in the movie, but they thought "Okay. Use that in the soundtrack."

they had to change it because the Arabic community wanted to sue Disney for stereotyping. That's why they had to change it.

I know that Arabian Nights was already a short song to begin with, but dang it this cover was so good I wanted more and seemed too short for me, LOL! XD Anyways, amazing work as always Jonathan! You had awesome rock to it yet you still captured the mysterious Arabian tone so well! I love it!

Daniel Williams He has covered "He Lives In You", so it's not entirely implausible he'll do other songs from LK2. But obviously his hating the movie is a considerable impediment that will certainly to some extent hold him back from covering those other songs, even if he happens to like them.
