I want an animation set to this song, where the dwarves dig too deep and uncover the Balrog, but despite the Balrog's best efforts, the dwarves are too busy digging to notice him.
I mean, the music video for the original version is kind of like that
If I could animate, I would do exactly this, because this is amazing
..I'm just visualizing a cartoon of it, with the Balrog being beaten because they're just chucking shovel and bucketfuls of rocks over their shoulders as they dig, and it's pelting the Balrog in the face/head, and eventually just being buried under it all~😂😂

I cannot believe a literal decade old improv joke song has become such a bizarre cultural touchstone.
Also never realised how much of a raw line "the earth is our cradle, the mountain shall become our tomb" is.
I remember watching the original Yogscast episode of their old Shadow of Israphel Minecraft series. Where Simon just started singing randomly as he was digging, just to get in character and goof off. To think it started off as a random off-the-cuff moment, and it has now become a beloved part of internet culture.
This song become an anthem when I saw a cover of it by Wind Rose years ago.
Not only I was playing some minecraft during that time, but also a lot of Dwarf Fortress and Deep Rock Galactic
