Is it possbile to make a lens that is a mix of the DoF and Telephoto? Something that is not as big as the DoF Adapter, but still gives a nice shallow depth of field
There is no free lunch. You could use the thread adapter to mount an accessory lens from Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Olympus, etc, but then you run into the issue that they're quite big to begin with. Honestly, if you want background compression aka bokeh, there is only really one other way to do that and that's to use a diopter, which will simulate a macro lens for close up, but you won't be able to focus it on a person. If you want shallow depth of field, and you want to do it properly, e.g. not with cinematic mode which is prone to looking weird and blurring the wrong thing out, then you need to use a depth of field adapter. There really is no free lunch.
Hey! I just ordered a beastgrip pro / anamorphic m2k 1.33 / nd variable / and 0.5 black must !! Does it matter what I stack first on top of the anamorphic lens , like should I put the black mist first then nd variable , or does it not matter ?

@@beastgripTV thanks for getting back to me, I think that if beast grip enabled picture profiles (Not just bubble gum profiles but something that actually expanded the DR) and also gave us the choice to enable Global Tonemapping (I think Beast grip app only does local Tone mapping) then I think it would be a little more competitive. my 2 cents
You will be able to mount it into the rig, however it most likely cause issues with lens alignment, for this reason we recommend using phone without any cases for optimal performance with external lenses.

Why you don’t focus to improve dof adapter and the soft edges, please, there are a lot of people waiting for a new dof adapter,

Honestly I think I like the 1.33 anamorphic better than the 1.55, less curved edges in the footage. Maybe that’s just me

For the best alignment and performance with external optics we recommend always removing your phone case.
