I’m willing to bet there will be little to no cheaters outside of a cronus maybe. You know China has a social credit system that directly impacts you ability to access things like the grocery store, the movies, gas stations, etc. right?

tarkov also has 20 different mechanics this game does not have, while this game is being made by the biggest game company in the world tarkov is an indy game... so its understandable

They're independent but are far beyond that of a normal indie dev team. They made 2 million in gross profit AFTER internal payments and upkeep in 2022. Since the launch of Arena, and even the year before that, their cash in bank has increased by millions consistently every year. Not to mention that the price tag the game is offered at for early access, compared to most other indie games, is egregious. The EOD version was originally said to get access to ALL future DLC, which to be fair, they held up with PVE, but nixed the version of the game entirely if you wanted to buy your way in to both PvE and PvP. Now that version of the game is the literal highest entry fee I've EVER seen in a game. $250+. Only if you originally had the EoD version do you get the option to PAY FIFTY MORE to get access to what was promised earlier on in the dev cycle (for free btw). These guys hide behind the blanket term of indie to get away with extremely scummy behavior in the gaming landscape, and you're falling for it. No game that's in beta after ten years should cost more than quadruple the price of a full price AAA game. I literally own the base game, and refuse to play it because Nikita fucked up with the pricing and hasn't done anything about it in half a year. The pricing is still the same, and won't change. If you want an indie company that actually cares about publishing a good game, consistently hires freelancers to head their own projects, all within reasonable pricing, there are countless options of other dev teams making games that have infinitely more soul and infinitely less predatory business practices. If you or anyone bought the extra 50 dollar upgrade for something that was originally offered for free because you paid extra for a hopeful startup, you'd fall for any other pyramid scheme out there. Sure, there's an actual product behind this one, but you got played. Nikita knows this. That's why they backpedaled and cut the fee from 100 for the upgrade to 50. It's still a fee that should never have been introduced, they went back on their word. Any respectable indie company would never cross that line. All it would take at this point to officially nix the term "indie" from their belt is an outside investor. A good example would be Larian studios. They're independent but they had investors for their dev process, making Baldurs Gate 3 a AA game. Technically, yes, EFT is an indie game by definition, but far from it in action and practice.

If you change around the barrels/muzzles/flashlights for the snipers they’ll give you a muzzle velocity/bullet velocity increase. It’s a bug so who knows when it’ll be fixed. I know Ravic touched on it earlier but if you see this give it a try or watch his video.

My first f2p fps was Combat Arms. In 2024 we get this. I'm having such a blast with this. As a Tarkov player who doesn't have the time to devote anymore to that game, this is perfect for me.
I am so excited for this game because Activision wouldn't give DMZ the support it deserved. ABI and tarkov are fun but they are more niche compared to something as arcadey as DMZ or seeminly this game.

I noticed that all the big channels were posting about this game at the same time. It's not bad, but it's a free version of x game. That being said, I was entirely curious if I could dig out if this was some part of a great marketing campaign.
I think the only issue I have with it at the moment is that the movement feels a bit too much like a mobile game. If they can smooth that out on pc, it would be a near perfect fps
