the raptors trade would sure be intresting. having a 10 man rotation of scottie Ingram Poetl RJ Quick with Davion Gradey Jakobe Koloko Mogbo woulda be really exciting to watch tbh
That rotation would not be exciting in the slightest. And would be a lottery team side of the play in and thats in the east. That would be the 2nd or 3rd worst team in the west
Brandon Ingram just isn’t that guy. He is peripheral all star demanding max money. It doesn’t make sense. He is worth what he is on now. Bear in mind the NOP still isn’t a consistent playoff contender with him being a top two option.
I honestly don't think the Jazz would give away any draft picks for BI, especially when they are tanking for the future. I don't think many teams would be willing to give up 2025 picks right now either. The 2025 draft is just too intriguing for most teams.
I will throw up if Brooklyn traded for Brandon Ingram. I dont even think its realistic, and nothing against him, but Brooklyn is in the perfect scenario rn to be bad for a few years + why would Brooklyn even trade for him after getting two of their picks back.
Pels needs a Center which complicates a move as well. If Detroit is in playoff ie play-in by trade deadline.A Third team requiring to have to throw in picks by NOP.
I really hope no one gives BI a max contact I think 30-40 mill is a good deal for him if his injury issues and he remains to need the ball to be a good 2nd or 3 rd option remains this could be like a lavine level contract in the future for a contending team
@@TeeLeww81 I think if I like the nets as his suitor the most because they've just start their rebuild so it won't be as impactful but also I hate to see good players just rot on rebuilding teams and waste their primes , if Ingram's priorty is money then sure but if he agreed to a team friendly contract like 25-40 million a year cause realistically I think his ceiling is like high tier 3rd option on a championship winning team and would be a much more valuable asset
What about a clippers trade, do they not have enough? If I’m the Clippers “they can have anyone not name Harden,Kawhi, or Zu”.Also they may have enough bc he on an expiring deal so it should be cheaper to get him.
Sheldon I have a trade ok it’s one where harden and bi go to jazz collins sexton and Kessler go to clippers and 2 picks then clarkson zubac and sensabaugh and 3 picks go to pels
I could see the Pistons getting involved, if they start the season on a hot streak. I realize it would probably have to be a three team trade because the Pelicans don't really need their #1 trade chip. That being Jaden Ivey. I just can't imagine that Langdon isn't monitoring the situation.
LOL if the pistons started on a hot streak. THats a joke in itself haha. But what a short sighted awful move that would be to make a trade like that bc of winning more games than losing over a 10 game span
@@grapeape1965 I don't think it's likely the Pistons trade for him. It's much more likely they wait for him to hit free agency and sign him. The hot streak I was talking about was the very unlikely 20 game stretch where they are 12-8 or better. Even then, there is less than 50% chance of this sort of trade happening because as I mentioned the big trade piece is Ivey. However, if they are 12-8, it's likely that Ivey is playing extremely well. Therefore, they would have no reason to trade him. As an aside, Ivey wouldn't be their only trade major trade piece if they had maid a deal with New York, similar to the Brooklyn/Houston trade, to get full control of their 2025 pick. They wouldn't likely trade the 2025 pick, but having full control of it allows them to trade their pick in 26 or 27. That would be a much bigger trade chip than not having an available first until 29 or 30 because of the protected pick New York still owns. The deal I'm thinking of is something like Wendell Moore and New York's two seconds back for Detroit's protected 2025 first. New York would consider doing this because that protected pick is likely to convey to two seconds anyway. They are likely to be better than their own seconds, but they are also likely to be further out than at least the first second they would be getting back (I believe it's in 26).
Raptors fan… if the raps trade for BI I will be so upset. We need to do this the right way. We need one high end young prospect from this next draft. We should get a top ten pick, to add to the recent draft picks we have made
Portland already knows what they have in Simons and they don't want him. As soon as Robert Williams is healthy, he's gone. Ayton is far better than you're giving him credit for and Reath is just a cheap backup bandaid at this time. And, trust me, we don't want Brandon Ingram who will very shortly be turning 27 years old! Also, soon he'll be far too expensive and will be filling a "void" we don't require! And furthermore, he overlaps too much with Avidija, position-wise! Very bad idea, and simply won't be happening!
I would try to trade him to the Denver nuggets for Michael Porter Jr. If Zion is healthy he might help and if Zion is injured you're definitely tanking team. Brandon Ingram is a little too talented to allow you to tank.
Not really an albatross when he only has one year left on his deal. Absolute worst-case scenario he's off the books for near nothing in return in less than a year. That's not really an albatross.
How about a Houston deal? Could trade Adam’s and Brooks for Ingram. Houston wants to win, this gives them a better chance and they could open up a lot of cap space in the offseason if they don’t bring him back.
Good trade idea. Spacing would be a problem. Zion & Adams played together before and Zion still doesn't have a middy or 3 ball. They'll definitely dominate the boards together.
exactly, the entire issue is salary and he has guys in this trades, NOT GOOD PLAYERS and nowhere near BI, tht have equal or more years as BI and some on just as much money, or others still on bad contracts in everyone's opinions and as facts.... NOLA isnt trying to get off of BI at all costs, theyd love to keep him... its a money issue. Bad money and losing the trade talent wise is not better than just freeing up allll the money and not having 2 new 2nd round picks lol
If I am the Brooklyn Nets I go all in on BI.(pause) BI won’t be traded because the Pels don’t want any extended money or years coming back. That’s it. He’ll fall off the books, Trey will get extended, and CJ will go to the bench until he falls off the books. Pels winning championship in 3yrs on a very low budget. Team is here… Murray, Herb, Trey, Zion, and Missi. 3yrs.
