I did the same with the neptune but i used a 28mm long shaft 2 impellor jet pump with an 1/8th scale 2000kv motor, 120amp hobbyking esc running 6s. It pretty much keeps up with my bassboat lol. Rad vid man for sure
Got one of those jets. Can't work out what the upright pipe nipple is for, towards the motor end of the jet unit. A few videos,including yours, show a small length of hose, around 1/2 inch sticking out of it. What's that about?

So have I. I think they glued together the propeller with the end of the shaft. I tried to unscrew it with different tools (reverse, backwards) with no results.I also used a lighter to soften the glue, however, it did not work at all. Had an specilaist on the line. He couldn't figure it out. He read to me basic notes provided by the manufactor, basically, how to unscrew the propeller counterclockwise by using two pliers to prevent the shaft from moving clockwise. It did not work. If I find a solution I will share it.
