Old Fashioned Wilted Lettuce Salad

Wilted Lettuce Salad
Ingredients
5 slices of bacon, fried and crumbled
3 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
6 to 8 cups leaf lettuce (romaine, spinach, butter, or a spring mix)
hard boiled egg (optional)
Instructions
Cut bacon into small pieces and cook in skillet until crisp. Remove bacon and place on plate with paper towel. To the hot bacon grease add vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Cook until smooth and sugar has dissolved.
In a large bowl add lettuce and green onion. Pour hot dressing over the lettuce and mix until completely coated. Slice hard boiled egg over top. Serve and enjoy!
