This was great. I got randomly recommended your channel a few days ago, and like no shade towards most other reaction channels... but not really my thing. Your editing though, as well as sense of humour and style are so on point. Makes for a great time. The Boys and Gen V are so great. I really appreciate how topical and socially relevant it is, and its sense of humour and satire. Chefs kiss. I read the comic when it was originally published a long time ago, but this is a rare instance where the adaptation is a lot better. Same endearing characters (MM, Annie, Kimiko, Butcher, Hugie, Maeve etc), incredible deconstructions/psychopaths to root against, but more modern, and topical and politically biting. Hope you enjoy S3, and can't wait for the next season of Boys and Gen V personally.
*8:50** isn’t that the same girl from “Gen V” who exposed Emma? Pretty sure that’s her. And considering another character from that series makes a very small cameo in this series(no spoilers) It would make sense she appears in this world*
Well spotted but no. The hostess is portrayed by Keana Lyn Bastidas. Justine is portrayed by Maia Jae Bastidas. I guess the two sisters auditioned at different times and got different roles. It would be funny if the show got them both back for the next season and make them sisters in the show, one with V and one without V.

homelander isn't racist tho. He thinks he's above everyone, regardless of race. And he thinks supes are above regular humans. Homelander is basically a representative of american (supe) exceptionalism. And stormfront is basically a representative of ethnic nationalism. They represent two different things.
I think the fact that he enables the racism of Stormfront, by allowing her to freely advocate for her white nationalism alongside him, is enough for me to associate him with those kinds of people
@@everybodylovesrae_I could see why you think that way but I dont agree. Homelander simply doesn't see her as a threat, or anyone for that matter, since he thinks he's the best and literally knows he is. I love your reaction to Butcher. He is my favourite character as well People are just so dumb to say he is the equivalent of "Homelander" You mean to say a man who was brutally abused as a child, got one redemption in his wife who was then raped and taken away is somehow to he blamed how he is??? releasing he video of homelander basically killing people on the plane anyway would be very stupid. if they would he has nothing to lose and could kill everyone without concequences
And that was addressed in the scene: When Maeve threatened to release the video, Homelander said then he would just destroy everything (because at that point he would have nothing to lose). But then Maeve points out that what he values most is the public adoration, and destroying everything would mean nothing to him if nobody loves him anymore. Homelander recognizes this to be the truth, and in the next scene we see that he's doing everything Maeve asked of him.
