Sam's actor really is fantastic in this show. I think all of the actors are good but he definitely stands out. Also that shot of Emma covered in blood looking up at the guards really is amazing cinematography.
As soon as they mentioned Tek Knight was coming to the campus, I knew more or less what to expect. All of his dialogue was so hilarious with his metaphors. Of course viewers of The Boys TV show wouldn't have known what to expect, only readers of the original source material would know Even then, to make him the host of his own show was a great way to adapt him to the show and probably a lot cheaper.
fun fact: emma was actually in a huge ear filled with fake blood for the final shot of ep3 and hughies character from the boys gave her advice on how to get it off lol

Here's a little information about compound V from the main show: In season 1 of The Boys everybody thought that the powers were God-given, until a twist at the end of the season which revealed that all the heroes were created by compound V. But this show started with everyone already knowing about compound V.
