- After Myanmar, we headed to Nepal. We landed in Kathmandu on New Years Eve with no plan of what to do with our two weeks in Nepal. We explored for a few days and headed out to one of our newly discovered favorite towns on earth, Bandipur. Incredible Himalayan views, cobblestone streets, and the nicest people on the planet. After Bandipur, we arrived in Pokhara to start preparing for our 10-day trek to Annapurna Basecamp. The trek was rad, the weather was decent until the final day of our trip. Once we arrived at ABC (Annapurna Basecamp) the sky completely opened up and stayed for the duration fo our trek. Normally if it's overcast at ABC you get absolutely no views. Imagine trekking for 9 days straight, almost 60 miles uphill to not get to see what you walked towards. Let's just say we were pretty hyped. After our trek we explored Kathmandu for a few more days, then left to Bali.

You were unlucky to have picked a wrong time. With the unrelenting rain and the flooding caused by it, it isn't the best time to be here at Nepal. The best months are April-May and September-October. The festival season falls on the latter. But anyway, I hope you enjoyed your trip. It sure is a beautiful country.

Not trying to be too picky here but I believe the video could have been done in a much better way. For a glimpse, it is great, sort of like a teaser for a movie but if it was meant to showcase the country, then it could have been a whole lot better. Most of the tourists are concentrated in the Trinity i.e. Kathmandu-Pokhara-Lumbini circuit. However, the western region is equally great if not more. You could say that the western region of Nepal hasn't lost its authenticity. It is the unadulterated version. If you guys are planning to visit Nepal again, I suggest you visit Rara and Shey-Phoksundo lakes. You'll cover two national parks, Rara National Park and Shey-Phoksundo National Park, get to see two gorgeous lakes, trek the Dolpo circuit, and unleash your inner Bear Grylls. I hope you enjoyed your last visit here.

Countries like *Nepal and India* are great for tourists. They just adore it. _To live in these countries is not that easy though._ I am not complaining. But just saying its not 1% as cool to live as you tourists believe.

Trung Hieu Phan if you want to explore Nepal, u have to get out of the capital city Kathmandu. It's so polluted you probably not going to like it. But the best places to explore will be pokhara, Manang, Mustang, Illam, dharan, solukhmbu and many other places. And welcome to Nepal anytime.
