- Its time to move onto the Phase 3 of this DIY pool build. Phase one was land clearing and excacvation. Phase 2 was the upper retaining wall and slab cleaning. Phase 3 is the lower retaining wall and creek bed.

Cap’n.. my dog Gabby eats wasps. How she keeps from getting stung, I’ll never know. But, you let one fly by her and she’ll snag it right out of the air.
My wife asked me to train her not to do it…. But, when I Googled it… no one had any advice other than, “No need to train the dog. Eventually, one of the wasps, bees or hornets will do the training for you.”
In the meantime I get cheap pest control!

Dogs don't fare well with bees and wasps. We had a dog that used to chase and attempt to eat the said insects.... I can positively say that there was an equal and opposite reaction when she ate a bee 😵🫣😬
And no, she didn't learn..... 🤷♂️

It's so darn hot here in ca 110°and the forest fires don't help us people with breathing problems, oh and nasty humidity.
great video Mike, when you were moving those rocks it reminded me of when i was young my dad and i made a retaining wall in the river to stabilize our cottage lot, we got most of the rocks from the river and then we moved some by boat , it was quite an experience, love your commitment to your projects 👍👍👍👍👍

we have had 8 inches of rain in the last 12 days, 4 inches one day, then a week of continuous rain added 3 more, then another inch two days ago.
It isn't wet out, we had been in an 8 week drought, but my goodness is it ever humid outside now.

I think you have the absolute best comment generator a fellow could install. Hands down just a fantastic generator that never seems to stop getting you more comments and I hope views. Harbor Freight small trailer frame will fit an IBC. Won't handle it full of water, but would be good for the fuel trailer.
Pushing on thru the muck and the mud! Try a small knuckle boom crane once.....You might shy away from the extend a hoe crane. Fun video 👍😁

Need a couple of Harbor Freight moving blankets to keep under the back seat of the truck so you can throw it over the seat when needed

14:45 🤣🤣 Already putting the new Vevor product to the Kleeman Proof test! Between the slip sliding for the water and all the way to the bridge and almost taking US out, so much comedy had me dying laughing! "A little iron in that rock there!" Was the tip of the iceberg! 🤣🤣 Knocking us over isn't a big issue as long as the mixer doesn't take another swim. I don't think it would survive the second plunge!

Hi yeah mike! So far im not eating smoke! Lol and the pool is taking shape! 4x4 is nice but fosen that 555 have a locker in it? If not look up what's called a lincon locker! And with the skills you've shown, i think you can make one! And you just might want to look and see if you cant find a bad running one and swapp out your capopnents for the other unit to make the machine you want! Keep up the cool work and be safe at the job !

This has definitely been a hot and humid week. Even though the temps drop below 70 overnight it just becomes a foggy drive to work when you can see the air.

I have a suggestion to potentially save you some trouble - keep the rear tires on the backhoe aired up to around 30 psi (check your tires or backhoe specs for recommended pressure). I assume your rear tires are tubeless, and the extra flexing of the sidewall may cause them to start leaking through the sidewall, or at least it did on my old backhoe. The ride is more stable as well as it won't lean as much with higher pressure. But more important is avoiding a blowout of sorts. At just before the 15 minute mark in the video, it looked like the right rear tire was close to getting rolled back in off the rim, which would have been a dangerous situation given the slope and position. Enjoy your videos. Stay safe.

Hi Mike. The 555 lifting those pallets kind of sounded like me trying to get out of bed in the morning! The 555 is a real trooper. You put it into some treacherous spots and somehow it holds on and keeps going. Noticed the creek was running a bit. Hopefully the excess moisture in the road will find its way into the creek.
Bought the same compactor. Works great.

There HAD to be some concerning 'pucker factor' in that slippery slope water delivery. Seems you handled it well for the conditions. Hope it dries up a bit for you. Late July and August are the dry times for us(NW Illinois) normally, but the Mississippi has been above flood stage for a good part of July.

You moving those rock around reminds me when I worked at a cemetery and we would fix sinking headstones with a big bar and blocks of wood . You can do a lot of work with a lever. great video! 🧱🪨⚓️🚧
A couple of C-clamps work well for a quick connection. Especially handy with a couple of small wood blocks when moving sheet rock alone.

Glad you have luck with Vevor stuff, I have not. I have their 22" gas griddle and the thing warped immediately with basically no temp control. Also have their in-line fan I was going to use to vent out my garage and it barely works for as much noise as it makes. I'm done with them.
did you return them for replacements?
@@CaptainKleeman I left a review on the flattop and I kept the fan too long to bother. Everything was super cheap and I chalked it up to "live and learn" don't really have the time or motivation to repackage (trashed original) and send back.
