I agree, the good thing about them being smoked is that you don't need much seaaoning. They're probably really good with white potatoes like you cooked in your other video...yum. That is on my list of recipes to try. Awesome video, sis! 🙏🔥🍁😁🍂
Your time maybe different from mine, because no two stoves cook the same. So therefore, I will say 2 hours but when cooking you don't focus on the time, as much as you just make sure the meat is tender then watch for the amount of water in the pot. You want most of it cooked out. Thank You Vincent for your comment!
@@georgiacookingforthesoul Thanks for your prompt reply! It was just in time. I bought about 8 pounds of Smoked Neckbones to cook tomorrow for the 4th of July!
@jasharadavis5685 When you say the same way, what do you mean? Yes, you can boil them on top of the stove it just takes a long time. As far as the seasoning, it may be a little different . I have an oxtail video up if you need to watch it. Just search Georgia Cooking for the Soul oxtails recipe. Let me know if I can help further.
You need to explain yourself a little more like how long do you keep them in there for and how much water to use or seasoning this video is no help thanks
When Cooking anything, make sure you start with enough water to cover your meat or whatever. Then as it cooks to tell if it's done check for tenderness and taste. Don't worry about the time it took, because that's not actually correct everyone stove cooks different.
Cook them until tender with fork..dont drain the juice they were cooked in.i usually cover mine in water when I first put them on so by the time they cooked. I use the juice to cook my beans with the meat same pot. It's done when the beans are done by then the neckbones meat will be falling off the bone....I like mine soupy and the beans have created a juicy gravy. Add these items just before the beans began to get soft 👉butter fresh garlic cloves pepper onions cilantro and taste before u add the salt cause smoked neckbones already have sodium. So gooood...
I never thought to have them alone. Looks tasty. Thank you
They were Delicious. You are welcome!
Yes ma'am!!! My mom and grandma used to cook them like that...
"They good" she says! All I could say to myself is, "I bet they are!"
Always used smoked neck bones in collards and beans. Gonna give this here a try!
Yes; they are good cooked by themselves too.
Looks delicious! I wish you lived next door!
It would be nice.

Looks so good
Thank You!
How long did you cook the Smoked Neckbones? Thanks
Cook until they are fork tender. The amount of time depends on your stove. Usually takes 1 1/2- 2 hours.

Okay; so it's best you check for tenderness instead of the hours it takes to Cook.
@@georgiacookingforthesoul Thanks again! I'll do just that.
Looks yummy!!!
Thank You so much!
Can I use chicken broth to cook them??
Sure, you could seasoned your food anyway you want.
How long you cook at what temp
I cook all my food on medium temperature, until the meat is tender when you stick a fork into it, that probably takes 2 hours.
Yummy 🎉
Thank you so much!
Can I cook oxtails the same way?
