I love mine! Bought it today for my iPhone 8. I’m a special education teacher and I use my phone A LOT! I’m always talking to parents and using my iPhone as a hotspot for my iPad at work. When I’m not at the school, I deliver as my second job and it’s nice to have this case to give me extra battery. This is so much easier than carrying around a power bank and a cable. I have to be mobile at work, and sometimes I don’t have pockets to store my power bank if I need to be up and about. Love this! Best Buy has a Black Friday deal for these cases.
I got the black one for my Xs Max and the battery life is insane. Through very heavy use I have barely gotten to the iPhone’s battery. Plus it still works with CarPlay and Lightening audio adapters. It’s very expensive and super thick, but it’s also very convenient.

Small battery and expensive battery case

Xs max have preatty solid battery life. And apple underrates their batteries
Exactly in an ideal world it would be the other way round with a big battery and a case to supplement the battery rather than the case being what is relied on to make it through a day smh
The thing though is neither phone needs it, both can last a full day on heavy use easily. It’s more for the longer days and travel or maybe somebody who gets a day and a half from their phone to get it to 2 full days.

I took my XR off the charger at 8am this morning at 100%and I have been using my phone heavily all day. It is now 11:25PM and I am on 42% battery. I honestly don’t think you really need this kind of thing unless you’re going to be away for a charger for a couple of days.

I have my black smart case for my XS Max somewhere around a year, little longer or shorter, I love it, no problems what so ever & extra battery is always welcome
Found one on sale for 90$ IMMEDIATELY bought it. Arrives in 2 days. Can’t FREAKING wait!!
I sat on the floor at Best Buy trying to decide wether to purchase this for $129...I was comparing it to similar cases, watched RUclips reviews until security started checking in on me! I pulled the trigger and love the damn thing!! Its silicon case slips in and out of my jeans easily and the charge lasted - phone and case-3 plus days:). I’m a medium user. The case interfaces perfectly with the phone...no need to push buttons for charging lights...mine is black and does not get dirty, or show finger prints to a great extent. Very, very happy with my purchase:)
I got a black one for the XS Max and have loved it so far. I always have loved apples silicone cases and now there’s an extra battery inside. I feel like I never even get below 100% now
I just got this two days ago. I love this product. Not the best looking out there but I’ll take the extended battery life over looks for long road trips all day err day. I used it from 6:30am till about 9:30am the next day (which heavy usage) before having to charge back up. 💯

Most informative video on the battery case I’ve seen so far. I love these day in the life videos as we get a feel of what the product is actually like!!
i know most people find it convenient the smart case charge with a lighting cable, but when you're travel or just out and about, and you're without your cables and need to charge, it is much easier to find a micro USB than a lightening cable. Even if lightening cables are abundant it's nice having two options charging your phone.
As a Samsung user, I don't know why I watched this video with such interest... great review as aways. Probably the best tech channel out there!
I got mine a few weeks ago for my xs max in white and I really like it coming from a mophie charging case from other iPhones this one is better I like the feel of it more and you don’t have to worry about any buttons it does everything for you!
I’m an estate agent and constantly on my phone and out all day. I have a XS Max and honestly I really couldn’t need any more battery and I have some serious hours on my phone each day. Just the battery alone and a wireless charging car mount, my phone never gets low.
Got one for my Xs Max a few days ago. I cannot justify the price but it’s great for what I need to use it for.
How was your battery health?

I actually use this case for my 8 Plus. It fits a little tight but the only thing that the case covers is the camera but you can just fold the top of the case and take i pictures just fine. It actually charges and works guys!!!!!

The only problem with those cases is your phone is constantly charging which could degrade the battery over time.
I got 2 battery cases for my XR before I got this one, both reportedly had larger batteries. This one is the best battery case I've ever had. And I've had at least 10 of them for different phones. Nothing even close to this.

I bought the case and won’t buy the air pods because that’s simply stupid. The battery is actually a functioning and useful tool where other brand versions are a problem and frankly don’t work well, if at all. The air pods are a rip off and you can get an excellent set of Bluetooth headphones/mic for very cheap. I bought mine for $40. So, what were you saying again?

It’s not Charging, it’s using the case as the battery instead of the phones battery.

김사월_April When you charge you phone with a cable it gets hot due to the battery being recharged, the case just draws energy from the case instead of the internal battery, it’s not charging the phones battery.
Also for X users, the speaker holes on the left of the case don’t match up either besides the camera cutout. But it doesn’t effect the phone whatsoever.

Probably on the design part, the battery can just take up the whole back of the case and not leaving a bump like that, more surface area means the battery can be thinner? or the same thickness, so it would have substantially more capacity

Ok, I have to comment because a lot of people aren’t very bright.
1) The case is expensive but you get what you pay for. It’s first party that is guaranteed to work and a solid company to back their product. I have seen and used aftermarket brands and they either work well but only for a couple weeks, if they work at all due to battery failure or their substandard electronics where the phone even recognizes it. Look at a great brand called Mophie. Their XS Max case is $100 and it’s the top of the “third party food chain” and look at all the problems it has.
2) stop saying it’s only costs/worth $20, etc to make/sell. Do you now know how simple economics, supply/demand work? Did you go to middle school, simply drop out, and never used any sort of critical thinking skills? Even I if it costs $20 to make, you DO have costs involved. You have marketing, research and development, you have shipping and sales logistics, you have contracts with people overseas, among a ton of other costs involved like retirements/salaries, etc. Also, not a single large business spends millions and millions in creating products to sell to consumers at production cost. Are you stupid? Businesses from small to large want to make a profit. Hell, even drug dealers understand this basic concept of obtain for less and sell for more to make a profit. For those even bringing this up, you should be ashamed of yourselves for even admitting publicly how inept your brain is.
3) I’ve seen statements in the comments about him regarding air pods. I agree with him. To me, the air pods are not worth buying. I bought the case for $140 and won’t buy the air pods for $200 because that’s simply unrealistic as I buy for my taste and function and not for others to see me as “cool”. The battery is actually a functioning and useful tool that, to be honest, that extra battery life could save your life or ability to film to solve a crime. Again, it’s extremely beneficial on all levels to have extra power. Other brand battery cases are a problem and frankly don’t work well, if at all. The air pods are too expensive for their purpose as you can get an excellent set of Bluetooth headphones/mic for very cheap. I bought mine for $65 and work perfect. That’s why.

I have the Moment lens battery case it’s literally the same thing as apples. The difference is no wireless charging but it has I shutter button and you can connect your moment lenses to it.

I don't care about the way it looks as I had an 8 and battery case and loved it. I'm worried about the thickness. I'm going to go to Best Buy and check it out. Thanks! Great job.
