HEHEHE ITS FINALLY DONE!!! IM SO HAPPY AND I REALLY HOPE YALL LIKE IT!! I feel like I didn’t pick really good edits because they don’t show much..but it’s kinda to late to change it..
besides I wanted to use edits that you guys haven’t seen yet (IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THEM) and animations because other people need to be recognized too 🥺🥺
If you didn’t don’t know anything about my Mari au here’s some important information!!! [MINOR SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN’T PLAYED OMORI IDK WHAT YOUR DOING HERE…LOL

This au is an Omari Au so it’s very different . Instead of Mari pushing sunny down the stairs. Sunny drowns in the lake (the one in their secret hang out spot) this is based off of one of the books in the lost library in the game! But I added more to it.
Basically Mari couldn’t save sunny on time and hero had to go save sunny but when he reached him it was already too late. Mari blames Hero and Kel for Sunny’s death.
Why Kel? Because to her the pressure Kel was putting on Sunny to jump into the lake caused him to drown (because..she knows her brother doesn’t like to let his friends down)
Why Hero? Because Hero pulled Mari up before she could save sunny. (He did that because she was down underwater for too long for him so he started to worried and human need to breathe so…)
and jumped in to bring Mari back up and save sunny since he’s a better swimmer.
So Sunny’s death was seen by all of them so there’s so secrets or big reveals.. just friends who need to forgive each other and move on.
There might be one secret…Aubrey doesn’t know why Basil, Kel, and Hero are uncomfortable with Mari. If u wanna learn a little more I would go watch more of my Mari au videos 🤓🫵

The OMORI art-style on your characters is insane. The way you portraited such cool details, from the obvious eye bags and pale skin Mari has, to Hero's black studs. I usually don't watch these because I've played the game and almost none of them acknowledge some pesky details I care oh-so much about. I genuinely like this and it says a lot.

The little details always annoy me when they aren’t acknowledged like how Sunny made dream world before anything happened and how Omori isn’t an alter ego or person but just a personification of his thoughts

Am I the only one who thinks that if Sunny were the one who died instead of Mari, she would have a much easier time dealing with the grief? Even if Mari killed Sunny or not, I feel like she would have much more support than Sunny did, especially from their parents, cause we see that Sunny had basically 0 support from his mom, and his dad left him because of what happened, but with Mari I feel like it would be the opposite

@@alienh I think it’s because Mari in her household seems to be favored by the parents. So they obviously would want to support their favorite child or would at least want to be there for them. But it’s not really said in the game or anything so it all falls into a headcanon I guess.
@@justaregularpiepink i honestly think mari would get less support and this is why:
When sunny killed mari, he was about 11-13 years old at the time. He was immature and selfish, which is normally seen in those ages. We can see that his parents have lost faith in him, with his father saying "You are not my son" and his mother giving him expired steak every now and then. But Sunny was the younger sibling. Mari's older, so that would make people think that she's more responsible. Which is why it would be an even greater shock for Mari's parents if Sunny died to the hands of their high achieving, perfect and responsible older sibling. Sunny was neglected, but I think Mari would fully be blamed about it because she couldn't "take responsibility" for Sunny which ended up dead in Omari.
@@alienh That’s a really great interpretation! And it does make sense because usually when a younger child enters a family the oldest is expected to be responsible for them and probably put into more pressure especially since she’s their perfect daughter.
(This is coming from an older sibling myself lol)

I like that you based how they wound up in this AU off of how close they were to Sunny and Mari. Basil and Kel were most likely closer to Sunny while Hero and Aubrey were most likely closer to Mari. And who dies effects their futures differently

This has everything I'm looking for, and usually, I don't like when sections are short, but you utilized all the videos well and built the video based on interactions instead of just reacting! I also really like how this is different from the typical OMARI au and is tragic in its own great way. Really off topic but….I made a swap AU, with mari as omori, basil as aubrey, hero as kel, and the others are normal. (Omori is sunny but switched up, technically they’re the same person.)
(How it happened; mari was stressed about playing her piano because her fingers hurt a lot. She got up and omori chased after her. After that she took his violin and pushed him down. Aubrey rushed in to help and helped framed it too.)
And they all have different styles.
i looked up omori once and now i'm addicted to it

This is probably one the the most high-effort gacha react videos ive seen.
I love how throughout the video they figure out more and more, and kind of start to talk more. Then, at the very end, its like the progress made during the time is reversed in a different way when the characters begin to embody themselves from the original world.

So thats why her hair is still Brown :D (and it’s a lot different situation..because in the original Maid is dead and she wouldn’t be able to dye her hair with Mari.
