I really love this reaction video :3 although I wouldn’t say basil is a creep, he just wanted to protect sunny and during the fight between him and sunny, basil was seeing sunny as SOMETHING and basil wanted to get rid of it. He didn’t realize he was hurting sunny until soon after gouging out Sunny’s eye. I also don’t think basil is overly obsessed with sunny to that extent but he does have some abandonment issues and etc since sunny basically left basil alone for 4 years straight just to find out when he sees sunny again he’s moving away. I don’t know if you intended for basil to be seen as the possessive and obsessive type but if you did then I can understand but basils whole character isn’t about being obsessed with sunny :3 /pos

tbh i agree with you, basils life was flipped outside down those last few days. got physically bullied, called names etc by aubrey and her gang, photo album stolen, got pushed into a lake and almost died, sunny comes back after 4 years of abandoning him just to be moving, his grandma dies 💀☠️ all that stress together really makes his actions, although not excusable, understandable
all these factors tend to make hallucinations worse, i have a friend who when she gets really stressed has some pretty horrible hallucinations. sometimes they last a day sometimes a week or a month

this was a great video n all, but the AU has all the charaters wrong. basil had always been a very quiet and shy person, and wouldnt end up being so angry about sunnys death. aubrey had always been impulsive, and her role changing wouldnt change her entire personality. she didnt have such a happy personality as kel, so she wouldnt have the same trauma response as him. (this isnt hate, it is advise.)
