The funny thing was I flew on a British airways a380 from London to LA. I'm so glad we didn't decide to land on a aircraft carrier instead of LAX
Im not sure if you recognised the tail number of the actual aircraft he was flying. It was G-XLEA. This was actually British Airway's first ever Airbus A380. Now they have 12. I have actually flown on G-XLEA myself going to LA too!

Just a little note: YOU'RE LANDING BACKWARDS. All carrier landings are with an approach from the stern (the rear of the ship.)

The issue is, he just replaced the model without going into the metadata and modifying to the correct settings. The metadata script information is included with the mod in the install instructions. I'm surprised nobody has caught on to this!

You gotta send me your fsx.cfg file...
it will not work for your system.
You need to configure your .cfg for yourself because it depends on your system which settings are the best, there is no universal configuration which gets you endless fps for every computer (sadly).

What I got is unstable 30FPS which fluctuate extremely. -.-

The physics in this game is actually quite good. It's just you have too high of an expectation from a game that's not claiming to be a driving / flying simulator.

Yes, Mr. RUclipsr, that is how all jet engines work. The rotating propeller sucks in the air, where it is compressed and used for combustion.

I was sitting next to a nervous lady on an A380.She was scared the the pilots may drop dead and we would all be killed.I told her I could fly the plane as I played GTA.She was very happy and relaxed.😂😂😂😂

I don't understand your comment. In real life it makes all the difference with F-18s or any other plane the real Navy flies. The arresting gear only stops the planes in one direction, and that's coming from the stern of the ship, not the bow.

Not only that, the ship is pointed into the wind, relatively, so the aircraft obtains more lift. You'd have one helluva tail wind coming in from the bow.

The biggest plane in the world is the "Antonov 225"; try landing that!

I think he just landed that way for convenience sake, but yeah it does look really awkward...
not only that but when you land you "flare" , he pointed the nose of the aircraft downwards. You'll crash with that additional airspeed
agreed, I also loved how he hyped the whole thing, like when he landed a normal jet, was like ABSOLUTELY F-CRAZY and then the jumbo, WAS LIKE SUPER IMPOSSIBLE, and this one was LIKE NEVER GONNA HAPPEN, some people are just all about the hype... (it's just sad when you have to hype what your doing, like if it's exciting, then it shouldn't need hype, your done doing it wrong...)
Carrier aircraft have beefed up suspension and literally crash into the rw to catch the wire w/ their tail hook, obviously that doesn't apply here .
But yea, flares are usually good. I've 3 pointed a Cessna and the nose wheel caster limiter shook the plane like wild. I've also landed with the stall horn blaring from an early flare. Yikes. Either way, I doubt he's landed this thing enough to master it's flare.
Try Antonov 225 or B-52 Stratofortress.

An A380 cant fly with spoilers up
Those are spoilers in the video.
They ARE FLAPS acting as a spoiler, which is weird.
Yes, those are FLAPS. Spoiler is on top of the wings. Flaps is on the trailing edges of the wings. And it gone upward, which can't do on real live! And yes, A380 can fly with spoilers all the way up. That is when the A380 are too high and too fast and it was used when pilots wanted to lose altitude and speed quickly.
Kurogane 556 Which is wrong, those are flaps and they don't go up like that. It is impossible the way they design. Flaps are used to increase lift, spoiler are used to reduce lift. It is like your arm that can band backwards. You can't call your arms are legs can you?

Not only landing the wrong way but you have no tail hook to catch the arrestor cable. Even small jets won't make it without the cable. LOL Landing on a carrier is not a casual event.
Some guy landed a C-130 in real life on a carrier deck and was awarded the DFC.

A more better landing than my landings in GTA5
Years ago I manage to land a B-52 on the Nimitz in a proper (supposedly) professional Flight Sim (Microsoft FS-10), not arcade style stuff like GTA :-)
GTA 5 defying laws of physics.This landing was effectively about twice the length of the aircraft or probably less when measuring actual touch down LOL. Anyway, GTA 5 would be less fun if things were as fragile as they are in the real.
My Fear of Flying was Cured until I saw this Vid.
