Why TF does this not have way more views? they are sucha good band and have many fans, but only 740 likes? so under appreciated .. great live band
When The hip passed the torch, they passed it to these 5 guys from Hamilton! Arkells are the real deal!! And our new “Canada’s band”
yep, 100%
No sorry. The Hip never passed the torch to anyone. That flame will never leave Gord's hand. You should be ashamed to call yourself Canadian after such an asinine comment...
These guys became a boy band after Jackson Square. The songwriting is always the same thing "you were over here and I was over there...etc" I'm guessing that's what you think tragically hip was too
@@ryanroberts1987 I said that 5 years I was probably drunk. I couldn’t agree more about your comment but fuck you anyway.
This band is criminally underrated. also, this version of Private School makes me so happy :-)
Joel Emberson they’re freaking amazing!
I came across this video almost two years back having never really listened to Arkells much at all and fell absolutely in love with Max and all the bands energy. By chance I managed to get last minute tickets to see them, not even two weeks later at the sold out show in Buffalo, New York (Canadian writing here) from someone selling their tickets on the venues Facebook site!! Absolutely one of the best shows I’ve ever seen! February 22 2019. I’ve been a diehard Arkells fan ever since. Thanks so much for this video Strombo! Hopefully we’ll get back to this soon!
This (and part two) are excellent examples of a great band showing what real talent sounds and performs like. Bravo to the Arkells and to Strombo for putting this together for the world to enjoy.
neil young makes arenas feel like living rooms, arkells make living rooms feel like the ACC
Great Band, love it …… :)
This is amazing
Seriously George when are you gonna pull the trigger and get Toronto's own Tupper Ware Remix Party in on one of these Sessions. Do it before they disappear to L.A.!
Enjoyed this very much they are so good live.
Mind blown 🤯 killer set
Great work everyone!
Such nice positive vibes. :)
What a great show!
brilliantly filmed
This makes me so so excited for their show I'm going to later this month! Wish I could have been at this one...George, hook a sista up!
Oh la rock and roll! This vid has made the arkells my new fave. Such a party! Wish there were still tickets to massey hall. Personal fail:(
this gun is for hire - Oh baby - there is some special kind of magic in that living room \m/
#HamiltonProud Arkells ❤🔨
Man, what I wouldn't do to be there
I used a payphone about two weeks ago, very handy.
lol
So many bands from Hamilton, soon you all will know ;)
Like a lot of bands, Arkells are much more fun live. Way more energy.
Just noticed, at 34:06 it's the guy from the 11:11 video (I think)
lol I think you are right!
Yep, that’s him
No it's not
you need to get The Sons of Bill
Fan F***ING-tastic
Invite Michael Bernard Fitzgerald
Sounds alot like the Trews.
This version of a little rain has ruined the radio version for me. 'I said Pete man!'
Anyone know the name of the first song?
Making Due
they write music too personal outside of their hits.. who's going to relate to that?
👎
you, sir deserve a thumbs down as a person....
