Toyota Verso Rear Brake Disk Replacement

  • In this video i am replacing rear brake disk (rotor) on Toyota Verso 2013 to 2018 and it may be same procedure for other makes and models with a manual handbrake.
    As you can see in the video its quiet straightforward job by just removing 2 main bolts you do not need to remove the brake pads and caliper first if you are only replacing brake disks and as my brake pads are few weeks old i did not replace the brake pads otherwise it is highly recommended to replace the brake pads too when replacing the brake disks.
    Weather you are replacing brake pads or brake disks always replace both sides.

    Thanks man! I have some handbrake issues on mine, and I've done pad/rotor swaps before but never on a car with this style of handbrake. This was really helpful :)

    Hi. I got a 2018 model verso. Will it have same type. Wanted to change it.

      @@LFITTI did not adjust the shoe pad resisting with a screw driver. Now it’s making a noise when driving. Is it normal.

      @@mazdo86Brake Shoe need adjusting, so that each shoe almost touching the brake drum inside.

    your brake is drum brake plus disc brak.
    i never seen like this.

      yes, its quiet common now with newer models, which has goods and bads.
