Wow! Installed on Quest 3 and played Coaster Combat an older game and it looks fantastic. I had this game in mind when installing this and can't believe the difference. Thanks!!!!
QGO is pretty rad. Some games look perfectly sharp with no jaggies now. Contractors VR for example, it looks _so sharp_ and runs at 90 instead of 72. It feels like the screens are at the "correct" resolution now, whereas before the resolution just didn't match the Quest 3 display at all. Everything was extra fuzzy, even more so than quest 2 at times. Anyways, Team Fortress 2 looks amazing on the Quest 3. Sooo sharp, next to no aliasing.
Wow! What a game changer, incredible how sharp everything is. I’ve been switching back and forth with it on and off and didn’t even realize how bad the games looked before. It’d be very hard to go back to stock now. Thanks so much for this. Of all the VR channels I watch yours consistently has the best information. Great channel, subbed, liked and look forward to more from you!

Glad you enjoyed it 👍 I can't play games without it now because the performance is so much better, especially seeing those visuals at a much sharper resolution. Great video and guide for people to do this for their headsets.
QGO is amazing! I used side quest for the longest time until recently and it makes everything so much easier and makes the enhancements better and more fluid than side quest can too! Makes games look like how they “should” on quest 3 and even quest 3 enhanced games like 7th Guest, bumped up the settings even higher by just a little, and each puzzle looks exceptionally sharp! 👍
Just worked on this for days. I have found for ultimate clarity in Automobilista 2 (the only VR game I play) That maxing the resolution in Oculus software and going to about 1.7SS in game, and using 960 bitrate, and Low distortion Curve with NORMAL Link Sharpening. Gives best Clarity, but QUALITY link sharpening, was a softer image. Using .4 vertical FoV tangent, alows me to get 90fps all the time, at those settings, even at night in the rain. God bless all. HAVE A GREAT LIFE!! (this is with the official link cable, as I can not deal with any more latency)
I haven't tried this yet, but I just wanted to say how great your videos are! Your explanation of why we might want it at the start was engaging and to the point, then your tutorial was clear and informative, addressing all the areas I was thinking about. I bought it today and it does look nicer but I tended to forget once I was deep in game.. up to you, I’d say definitely worth 10$ but it’s not life altering.

Also being able to turn off Chromatic aberration is a must, I absolutely hate that option and turn it off on every game that has it.
It's a bit hard to tell without seeing for yourself in the headset, but it really is a night and day difference in all the games I've tried. Even games that already looked pretty crisp can be made to look even better. The only thing I wish this program would do is allow me to use custom thumbnails since the default ones for so many games are so ugly, or just non-existent.

Did you heard of people reporting that after a while the Q3 graphics dropped to Q2 Quality again and the trick stopped working ? I want to test it, but i am gonna wait to check this better. Update. I got it and i am testing. So cool. No issues until now on Q3.
This app allowed me to push the Q2 to its limit. I literally raised the wide resolution up to 2300-2500 or even higher and surprisingly some games can run at these settings, like Resident Evil 4 and into the radius. Of course, the frame rate is a bit low and there are some hiccups in more demanding scenarios, but for me who doesn't suffer from motion sickness, the low frame rate doesn't bother me that much and I can enjoy better image quality.

Netflix VR is only 720p, so this won't effect it. If you use Meta internet browser or video apps like Bigscreen/Skybox they do not limit resolution of the actual viewing screens.

Great advice as always. I’m thinking of installing the app for my Quest 2. I recall using Side Quest’s optimisation tools before on the Quest 2 but finally gave it up as it was a hassle always having to connect to my Mac to re-install the graphics settings every time after a Meta software update which would be quite often. Is this really needed for the Quest 3? I thought the new headset comes with updated graphics already.
The "problem" is that a lot of apps are optimized for Quest 2, so render in lower resolution textures etc. We have to wait until devs update this for Quest 3 to fully make use of the new headsets capabilities. Some apps are so old, devs are not supporting it anymore. This is where QGO comes in.
The graphics are better but Meta mandates a certain amount of performance capping for various reasons, also developers of old Quest 2 games need to update their software to take advantage of Quest 3's hardware as it's not automatic and many game devs just haven't or won't/can't do it, but with QGO you can make your apps look even better, taking full advantage of the hardware power.
Let me know if you're planning to give this app a try and which games you're looking forward to using it with!

Hi quick question can anyone assist me im using the headset for productivity would any of these setting improve the quality of the text etc im viewing in immersed of using native android apps in the quest 3 ?
Thank you so much for this video!! I was actually pretty disappointed of how some Quest 2 games look on my Quest 3. They looked worse than on my Quest 2. With this video games like The Climb 2 look amazing!! Thanks :D
I see others said the same thing but I'll say it too why is this just not included with the headset if it's so doable instead of having to do all this extra stuff that most people aren't going to want to do cuz it's too much technical stuff
Fanks for the help just over clocked mine and a massive jump but definitely better mainly got it for contractors hoping to improve draw distance fed up off looking at pixels in the distant
Amazing difference for up close and far distance! Game already looked pretty damn good but got so much better
@@Zanoozyeh man was impressed the first time I booted up the quest even more so now . Just waiting on my kiwi battery strap and dock higher loads kills the battery even faster 1 hour and it’s done
I've been on the fence about this app and this is exactly the vid I needed to see!
Would love to hear what you think!
