Useful tip re the sticker, don't stick it on your windscreen, rather stick it on a small piece of UV-resistant clear plastic or glass and stick that to the windscreen. If your screen cracks and needs replacing its virtually impossible to remove it intact as I found out last year and you cannot just get a replacement, you have to reapply as if it's your first
At last comprehensive and clear information about the dreaded "Crit Air Sticker"...To Crit or not to Crit was the question..Now Kat has explained exactly why and how..we are definitely Criting before we go...In the words of the well known French ballad..Zones are springing out all over...Better be a Critter...Thank you once again Kat...
Thanks Kat. I got my crit air a few years ago. It was fairly simple to do this online, and costs only a few pounds. It took about a week to have it posted to me.
Thank you so much Kat as thanks to you we know what catergory we are and it says we are free to enter the zones without needing to pay. Really relieved as we have to pass thru France for Germany & I was panicking as a Crit air will never get here in time 😬 - now we won’t need one I don’t think?? Xx
Have a query so just checking for compliance code for when need to do criticism air BUT don't know if need as motorhome has disabled tax and has ad blue. Could you advise ? Thanks
I wonder if ur visiting from the USA and renting a car here not registered to France can you do the sticker online but do they give u a temp one in the email you can print cause mailing wont work
Hi Kat. We are over 3.5 ton and classified as an HGV, and so I believe we are classified as N2 class and not M2. I'm not 100% sure but have gone on the advice of others. I've got our crit air sticker so I'm assuming it must be correct?!
Just another thought the sticker only means you wont get a fine. My car is category 2, but there are some city areas where only categories 0 or 1 are free.
Good info but can I just add one comment as I live in France. Don't let anyone tell you this sticker is valid in other countries, notably Spain, it is not if you have a UK registered vehicle. It is if like me you have a French registered vehicle. Spain is also moving on this with a single certificate, but till now as far as I am aware it is only available for Spanish registered vehicles.
Be careful you put it in the correct place not like me I duly put it on the passenger side as instructed not.thinking they were referring to left hand drive vehicles, it’s handy to have even if you never use it.

Thanks for this video it really helped me get our Crit Air 👍
Hi Kat/anyone! My vehicle is showing as ULEZ compliant but not showing the actual category - any idea where else I could find this?
That made it easy, very helpful as usual.
Thank you Kat. That was very information and grateful for the information.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video - how long does it last is it a lifetime or annual pass ?

Very informative thanks very much.
Why does the registration change itself around when you input it?

Only problem was getting the proof picture on,I changed jpeg setting on phone to 50% setting as they would not accept the ordinary picture setting

Interesting. I was told all private motorhomes should be cars. But if you’ve got one I wouldn’t worry about it. 🙃
Where do you put the sticker once you've got it.

Very good point. Yes- you still need to obey the rules of each zone
When I ordered mine, I did not have any problems. Just had to avoid the costly ones. It was cheap enough
I found it easy enough....but took a while to come., however the e-mailed receipt says it can be used as proof.
nice video

Very informative but no good to us as Hakuna is a 2001 motorhome 😂
