God is very real to me, listening to songs that honour Him, praise Him, show appreciation to Him for what He has done Just melt my heart and keep increasing my love for Him even more. Now I understand when the Bible says: God so loved the world that He gave His only son, so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
I add a very harder amen to the above text He is more then any thing this old world has to offer Even so come Lord Jesus!!!
I grew up with these songs in English and Spanish. What a joy and blessing just to hear these powerful songs. Nothing like this and never will be. Thank you for posting these loving songs of praise and worship.

I agree with you,my brother. I don't feel at home in church like I did growing up,singing the old hymns. There is a sermon in every one which the world needs today. What is called praise and worship today does not touch my heart. Peace!
@@goldenbear8088 I am happy to report to you that there is a movement in progress under Dino Kartsonakis to get these hymns back into the church. As well as other professional gospel people want them back in the church.
@Ulysses Hart Amen. Our church only sings these hymns because they are so full of doctrine, biblical experience and it lifts the soul and spirit and prepares for the message to come. :)

I grew up with these hymns. No they're not jazzy, no clapping, whooping or hollering. But they contain so much Bible doctrine written during times of such human trials and tribulations that they mean more to me than anything.

Same here, mark. I prefer them because they arent jazzed up and worldly. I grew up in the 80s and 90s hearing my mom play these hymns in our local country Baptist church. I lost her to cancer nearly 7 months ago and my world has been rocked beyond belief. These hymns and piano remind me of her.
Mark Hughes it’s nothing wrong with these beautiful sound because it’s was a deference during that time so now it a other time and new songs that we have now our children can understand that they all have need to be saved from the world right now because they don’t want to do the right things for them. But this right here it’s for someone like me I love it 🥰 because I live my life listen to them. I’m blessed just listen to it now thank you so much.
I also grew up with about 95% of these beautiful hymns played on an old pedal organ by Mrs. Maude Daley. As I listened to each song, I reflected on the beautiful times, I spent in church with my parents and other members of the church at Grove Town in South Manchester singing these hymns. These hymns speak about Christ and heaven.
Why in the world would ANYONE give these a "thumb's down". Unbelievable. Beautiful hymns and wonderful piano playing. Thank you.

In fact, all human beings should hear spiritual songs like these that are really comforting. If all continually sing praise to the Lord of Lords, most probably there would be no room for conflicts and wars. Jesus Christ is The Lord!!!

From the scenes n sound , the earth was pure ,not polluted as today with industrial waste n false doctrine from every facet of life .
Having grown up in both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking churches, many of the lyrics to these songs run through my mind in either language. The lyrics of these hymns have great reminders of powerful truths.

this is beautiful. how i remember the great singing of the congregation. the ceiling was high - a good thing -- for so many sang loud and heart felt. not like today. i miss it very much!
I agree. Its exact same here in Northern Ireland - young "praise bands" and young "Worship leaders" have caused huge carnage, once strong churches are now half empty as a result.

Sometimes when I listen to these music I feel like I should fly out of this world right this minute.I can just explain the impact of these music in my current life.But being out here in some Chinese city, these are a source of inspiration and hope for a better tomorrow.
