Permaculture is definitely one of the best if not the best way to produce organic and healthy food, it’s also seen as the right version of traditional agriculture. All I learned here will help tremendously to develop our self sustainable community back in Panama. Hope you guys are enjoying this adventure and if you have any tips I’ll be happy to hear them!
You are so wise! Permaculture allows one to lock into the natural flow of Nature, instead of trying to remake it. I equate it to swimming with the current instead of against it. The results are an abundance of richness in terms of organic food production and rich revitalized soil. All of these elements work in harmony from soil, water, waste, pollinators, and produce; thereby making the farm much more abundant but with less work and effort. The permaculture farm has formed that symbiotic relationship you spoke of in another video, and mastered the ebb and flow of Mother Nature's ways. Way to go!
Rodrigo, this is true (being a natural teacher). I am thinking once you and the team master your skills, you could invite people to the farm and have small sessions (for a fee) and teach them what you have learned. It would be a good way to earn extra cash! Kaley could have cooking sessions too. 😊 💰
I have been studying permaculture so that I can retire and live off the land. I love that you are doing this! I hope you become a great farmer and grower!
Damn Boy! ! your skills for video and editing are growing by leaps and bounds. . . . not to mention all the stuff you are learning along the way. I can't wait to see you put all this to use when you return to 'Lola's Farm'. Permaculture = 'the Circle of Life'
Howler monkeys are so cool! Their howl brought me back to Central America, truly a paradise on Earth. As I posted before, Jordan was absolutely right. You will be forever changed for the good by your experience. Thanks again for bringing us along with you.
Rodrigo these last few vlogs have been some incredible learning videos. I really like that you are exploring things you can bring back and use in your sustainable community. So good! 👍🏽
WOO HOO...you're the man Rodrigo!!! Wow! I love that you create videos that are so natural, real, and honest showing beautiful places that I did not know exist. It is so cool to learn about these successful permaculture places. I really appreciate that you are humble and do not pretend that you know everything but instead you're learning and teaching us as you learn. It's disappointing to see your friends at Lola's place trying to portray things as if they are know-it-alls and it doesn't feel honest. Rarely, do they later openly mention that the wind generator, worm compost, wood drying system, planted garden, etc., etc. didn't work out and why...because we all could learn if they shared mistakes and wrong choices plus I would trust what they say more. However, you Rodrigo are doing an amazing job making videos and I truly enjoy your passion...your content feels real and organic itself. I'm looking forward to seeing you take all that you learn and later truly live a sustainable life successfully...I'll be here to support you! 🙏
This was one of your best episodes ever. You made an excellent presentation of Permaculture. Your explanations are very clear. Thank you for your work.
I just watched Kaylee and Jordan's birth video this morning, and I cried throughout it all both times! You all are such amazing people! So happy to get to share your journeys with you! Sadie Mae is SO cute!
Your English and knowledge have combined to provide an excellent presentation about permaculculture. Keep up the great work. Dave and Seely from Nova Scotia Canada
Rodrigo, you are getting a first class college education. I love that you are open to learning new ways to self sustain. Permaculture is one of the best things humans can do to thrive, not just live. Hats off to you. Take all this back home and teach Sadie Mae everything you have learned.
YOUR ENGLISH IS AMAZING!! So impressed with how quickly you have become totally fluent! You have the ear and a natural gift for language learning. Thanks for sharing your journey and the wonders of permaculture with us. This is my favorite video so far!! ❤️
I am sooooooo damn proud if you young man!! You have learnt sooo much in the past year or so......... and now look at what you are achieving and learning!! I am looking forward to seeing what you achieve in the next few years!!
Hey Rodrigo, another great video my friend. It gets better and better with each video. Can't wait to see how you apply all of this information when you get back to Panama. Good luck on the rest of your trip.
Rodrigo, you are just learning so much I can't wait to see what you are going to do back on the farm in Panama when the family of Lola farm gets back together again. You are going to be such a vibrant asset to Lola's farm. You are a very smart young man. You are in my prayers for safety for your journey and for the knowledge that you are gathering in your journey it's going to be exciting. We love you and congratulations on the new edition to Lola's farm we saw the birth and we are so excited. I know that you can't wait to meet the little one waiting for your next video. I love what you're doing.
Wow it's been a couple of months since I've watched one of your videos and I have to say, the quality of your videos has improved massively. Keep up the good work!
I sure hope you put all your travels experience back at Home. Start something similar produces food for your town. Keep making notes. Thank you for another wonderful video. Sure was interesting REGARDS
Ometepe! 🌋 We stayed for a week at an off grid cabin and loved the island! We didn’t want to leave! 💚 You will be able to teach Jordan and Kaylee and the others all about permaculture and how to use the principles on Lola’s Farm. You are a great traveller and student, Rodrigo.
Good stuff Rodrigo, I have a large organic garden, love it so much. But I just had to say I just watched Kalee's birth video and OMG I cried and cried so beautiful. Enjoy all the learning you are doing to ensure you have a good life. Permaculture and diversity is the way forward, mono culture is damaging out mother earth.
All the knowledge you are gaining is going to be SO helpful back on Lola's Farm! All the people on the farm seemed super friendly! Glad you had such an amazing visit there!
I haven't chosen to watch your videos since you left the farm. However this looked interesting as I'm also a gardener. I've been surprised your farm hasn't been really active growing your own food. Maybe now you will. Then the farm will be self sufficient for the most part. Be safe
Thank you for sharing what you have learned with us. Congratulations as well. Sadie is beautiful! Sadie will have a great uncle to influence her. Protect her. Teach her. Best of luck on your continued journey.
I have watched to incredible RUclips videos this morning. I watched Kaylee and Jordan as Kaylee gave birth to precious Sadie Mae.She is a perfect blend of her beautiful momma and handsome daddy. She is adorable. My second video is this one. You are doing a fantastic job video in. Your joy for life and your gift for sharing as you learn is amazing.Thank you.
I am so proud of you! You are really learning a lot and retaining what you learn and are able to share it with us. You have grown up a lot in just these few months and you are having the most amazing trip of a lifetime. I love the way you find something positive in every negative and allow yourself to move on to the next experience the whole time learning from the bad one.
I’m so proud of the amazing, brave and caring young man we have all watched you become. Thank you 😊 for sharing ! It’s so very interesting and will be so useful for Lola’s Farm for sure!!! The natural insect repellent plant 🌱 you spoke of at the beginning of video can also be used on humans to repel mosquitoes 🦟! We were fortunate enough to visit Nicaragua and the locals shared this tidbit of information with us and we were so thankful as using the DEET ( aerosol spray can filled with insecticides)we brought was starting to make us all feel yucky 🤢! Good luck 👍 on your future travels! Can’t wait to see!!! Bless you “uncle Roddy” !!!!!
Rodrigo, what a marvelous vlog. Thank you so much. As someone said, you are a natural teacher. And you enthusiasm is contagious! I hope you can take all this back to Panama. Amazing resource you are my friend! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful area of the living, breathing planet. An inspiring story of people being responsible and taking care of this consciousness....🌏🌎🌍 Wonderfully presented. Super informative 👌..Gracias!...You're " hungry all the time."? 😁😅
Rancho Margo in Costa Rica is a self sufficient farm that uses and recycles everything and lives symbiotically with the land. It’s an amazing place to visit.
Hi Jen🙋♂️. Fun fact I tried to go to 2 different self sustainable communities in Costa Rica, so I texted and called them but they never answered 🥲. Same thing with a Cubans Cigarette factory that produces one of the best Cuban cigarettes in the world, I called 17 times 😂
@@thejunglecouple when we went a few years back Rancho Margo wasn’t very responsive. We went through another agency. But I know they have a program where you can stay there cheap or free in exchange for working there. Once you get there, they are super friendly. It’s just getting in contact with them initially that’s difficult. I love these travel videos! Especially the food reviews!
Wow, sooo interesting! Permaculture! Amazing experience that you got to have! Now I want to research how to get permaculture food and supplements. What a wealth of information that you get to take back to Lola's farm! Love your video's Rodrigo!
You are very interesting. I liked hearing about how they use the compost from the outhouse. I hope you research neem trees more. They are amazing in so many ways.
Just subscribed after watching few of your videos, quite interesting, the cement you are talking about is called adobe, i myself live in an adobe house, walls of 60cm thick, excellent insulation
You are sad to say good bye to your true roots. You shared so much learning tools that you will carry back home, and always remember where you learned then from. Perfect place for you sharing your heart. Thank you for all your educational gardening tips! Be safe!❤
Wow, your videos are very high quality. Both the actual video, the content, and your narration are so good. It's lovely to see these countries I could never visit, and especially wonderful through your eyes. This is a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So awesome. As you said. Such great people and also a wonderful place. You have learned so much and can teach it all to Jordan and Kaylee. (And little Sadie, too. She is so beautiful. Looks like her Mama, i think.
Thank you for showing us around the farm! If you could get some of the Neem Tree Seeds you would be ahead of the game for planting the trees! We can't find any to plant here in Florida. Send us some please!
