I don’t know how you guys don’t have more views. Is it because you’re only for the hardcores willing to sit through a long-form video? Each one is a free seminar.
Love the three rules of a scamble! Gives you something you can remember and not too specific about what techniques to use to accomplish one of the three
I've tried to reply to this multiple times but the comment doesn't show :D Anyway, I think I also say it in the video but yes, I first saw it in Glyn Powditch's Instagram.
@@prideneverdies1001 John Frankl himself is fantastic. I can't comment on the specific DVD yet because I haven't bought and watched it yet due to having an immense backlog anyway...
regarding the sit out or peak out, you should post your bottom arm right below your shoulder when you do the sit out. and you do not want to go too far in general coach brian at teachmegrapping show how to do sit outs. by posting the arm straight below the shoulder, it is a lot easier to move and you can bear more pressure. it is EXTREMELY hard if not practically impossible to effectively sit out if you are on the elbow or your arm is not effectively posted ruclips.net/video/4KXgCQcNLIk/видео.html
Maybe too much for one day, but you can sit out to the neck side. The finish changes. You don't run to the back you keep turning to the head of your opponent. Your elbow comes high and puts weight down on your opponents head. Keep your back arched and weight into your opponent as you spin through. You will end in the front headlock on top of them. It followes the rules. Your head comes out and you get higher and you make your opponent heavy on the hands.
Yes! Agreed! Check out my other videos - I have about 5 classes in Globetrotters in Action and then there's the Science of Strangles in RUclips and some more smaller clips.
Well it kinda IMO is still the same - you work to get points of torso off the ground. If necessary (or preferred) you accept guard. Saying that, full babybridge usually ends up in front headlock bottom if you play it smart and in hawking you can try to lift the hips and regain guard OR you will go to running man (and on your knees from there).

Why would you watch it when you can pay hundreds for Instructionals about what gordon was doing 7 years ago :^)
7:20 running man escape
12:42 sit up escape
12:56 single leg grab
14:05 reverse hawking?
19:24 peek out (not really)
27:50 drag out
30:26 combination
14:05 is John Frankl's Iron Pillow
I've been a fan of Jorgen's teaching style ever since I was a white belt at SBG camp back in the day. Excellent video 🤙🏻
Thanks!
Thank you for articulating goals of a scramble. This video is the first time I’ve heard them explained.
Thanks! Unfortunately I don't remember where I first learned it so I can't give credit...
@@JorgenMatsi thank you for adding to Priit’s structures.

This was great. I always get the peek out/sit out confused as a non-wrestler. Your explanation was perfect.
Did I actually explain it :D ? I'm not sure...
@@JorgenMatsi hahaha.
17:00 This position should be called "The Superman"
hahaha yes :D
Jorgen is an exceptional coach. Great content.
Thanks Joey! Hope to see you again one of these days!
Sweet! more priit shit!

That posture is called the Iron Pillow coined by John Frankl & lot of SBG guys like Henry Akins.

Is Frankl's DVD on Fanatics good? I always hear cool stuff about the guy
@@prideneverdies1001 it is AWESOME! John frankl goes super deep on fundamentals and really explains the basic of the iron pillow posture.

Loved it, needed some simple options from FHL and nice transitions from priit postures
Thank you!

Totally agreed, I didn't emphasise that the post must be structurally sound.
Thank you VERY much.

How do you fight the pressure on the neck to that side? I find it too easy to get folded.
Such a wrestler! Awesome!
You're making me blush Robert :D
More of this coach please

do you have any escape transition from the babybridge or hawking?

I think the title should get rid of the ism word
It is what it is :) It originated up in a discussion as a wordplay for postmodernism originally.
