I love Brian Johnson. He's got an underestimated voice. A true blues rock voice. And he's a guy that's got class and a humble attitude. My favorite singer of all time.
I love the way Brian sounds like his vocal cords were shredded by razor. I always wonder how he can consistently sing like this and not lose his voice. Same with Tom Keifer from Cinderella. AC\DC and Cinderella RULE!!!!

That opening adlib shred by Angus is better than most guitarists' whole career. He's the best.
I was a 17 year-old at that concert - and I watched AC/DC's show from the back of the crowd because I was absolutely knackered ! I'd been at the front of the crowd for Metallica who came on before them, and it had taken hours to push my way forward. The little white 'blobs' you can see the crowd throwing are 5 litre plastic containers - they had been full of beer, but by this time they were full if piss!

ANGUS is the only GUITARIST i have ever seen hold 90,000 people hanging on 1 note. The silence was deafening as everyone inhaled (the odd whistle etc) ALL WAITING TO CONTINUE the Let There Be Rock SOLO he changes a touch every time. Then as the speakers 🔊 🔊 🔊 continue to delight he lets rip the most amazing continuation of the SOLO (you have already forgotten how it started 8 minutes ago) 90,000 people go ballistic as if on stage with him. I live, love and blast AC⚡️DC with my heart. I’ll be playing them solos in my head on my HIGHWAY TO HELL.

The fact that he was only singing off of instincts because of his ear problem...is incredible. It still sounds good and I don't think you would think there was a problem. Good thing he got better for the new album coming soon. These guys always sound like their prime. Especially Angus. You can't replace the Young family.
I don’t know if he had hearing problems at the time yet though. He had to take a break due to hearing issues on the Rock Or Bust tour in 2014

Thanks for life saving music guys. Can't believe how well the Acdc weekend went. It saved a baby boy called Angus Malcolm George . It was so emotional, but it showed just how much you are loved. He had his treatment and he's now in remission. We could never thank you enough. We love you very much always 😍🎸💖🧡💌❤️😅

Well besides Motorhead. If I go to a concert I wanna hear the band not audio tune or backing help there are few bands that still go out there raw. You have the CD or what ever for the perfection you go to the concert for the event. Don't know about you but I wanna hear it raw. A good band sounds good either way studio or live means there a well oiled machine.
Yep DC was quite the opposite where most bands toured to sell records DC sold records to promote their tours that makes them legendary in my book

Same!! When I was 13 and looking for my identity. I would listen to what everyone else did. Grinspoon, Eminem that sort of thing. One day I missed the bus to school. Dad drove me to school and blasted acca dacca the whole way, started with Highway to hell, girls got rhythm, touch to much and walk all over you. I got in that car trying to be like everyone else. I got out a hard rock fan for life. I still like the other stuff but if I have to choose between Eminem and AC/DC. Well I’m sure someone else will listen to Eminem cos I’m on the rock n roll train.

Oh my. I remember having a back stage pass for a London arena gig in the 80's and briefly met Angus. Only regret, wished I'd have seem them in the 70's. Awesome live and my kids appreciate the music independently :)
