Very nice work... the snapper did excellent with the leaves, wow! The Cheetah doing what is does as always 👍💪💯. I enjoyed the reverse footage too. Have a good season and stay safe!!
Love it - thanks. Waiting for mowing season but where I live in Europe It's like the ground hog festival all over again (6 more weeks of winter). Had a few days of 20c (68f) then back down to 0c (32f) :-(
Hey Mike, Hope all is Well Brother, Excellent Video with Really Great Footages. I Mowed all Day Today & I Still Enjoy watching Tall Grass Clean Ups, Just Looks Great when Your Done ✅. Thanks for Sharing Mike, Take Care and Be Safe Out There 😎🇺🇸
I really like the reverse as well. But the haters really like to chime in on how much they hate it. I really can't tell whether the majority likes it or not. Maybe I will do a poll in a community post. I subbed ya by the way. :)
Another great job well done for sure brother. I was just saying to another youtuber I really want to find an overgrown yard just to mow it and see what I can do lol
Thanks. Yes, and the viewers like to see that sort of think most. Something I noticed is that if you offer to mow someone's tall grass for free, they will let you every time! lol.
Wow! That machine is SO amazing...hubby & I have mower-envy🤣😂🤣 What were the "trees" that you took down at the end? Reading thru the comments & OMGosh! the number of bee stings you get 😳😳
The owner of the house called them sunflower trees, obviously different from the regular sunflower. But I can't find them on the internet so I think they may have the name wrong. They are a rapidly growing tree that will take over the entire back yard if you don't stop them.
At first I thought they were fig trees and was shocked...we’re grieving the loss of ours to a freak snow storm (it never snows here!) but we’re very thankful I’d taken two babies from it that were safe in the greenhouse during the week of ice. Been prepping the soil to plant them soon so have had figs on the mind. Good you got those whatever-they-ares so they don’t overrun their yard!! 👍👍👍

Do you people ever collect the grass clippings? LOL Or... does anyone in the UK ever 'side discharge' I've never seen it here... Is it a hotter climate thing?
Ha, no, we never do. Here in Florida it is very rare to find a lawn service with a bagger. Everything decomposes very fast here so there's really no reason. I like the idea of bagging though...
just thinking about being the customer and seeing a nicely done yard for 5 mins, then the wind blows all those leaves from the neighbors yard into theirs
Does your velocity deck ever get clogged up after mowing those thick nasty weeds. I have to scrape out my ferris icd deck too often. Sick of it. Was wondering if im the only one dealing with this tiresome issue. I realize it happens less often with sharper blades. But down here in south Ga half of my customers dont believe in weed n feed and big dandelion cabbage looking weeds grow like crazy and they have this mucus snot crap in them. Sticks to the deck. Ugh
I only have to scrape the deck in the latter stages of the rainy season. Same thing, it's not the grass that clogs it, it's the weeds. I'm astonished sometimes how much wet mess comes off the deck when I scrape it.
Like the video, but I wouldn't really say that it was fully tall grass, it was just normal (4me!) If I say tall grass that starts from 4-5foot approx... Cheers, Mate!
Judging by how many clippings were coming out from such tall grass wit the Cheetah, I assume that you were using the Kavli blades? Was that from this year? We are still about a month from needing mowing on a serious level unless this warm weather streak stays around, then maybe two weeks or so.
I don't think so actually. This is older footage and I can't remember what blades were on when. The Cheetah is sure doing some good mowing though in this video. :) So, refresh my memory. Ridin Green so I'm assuming John Deere, but I can't remember what model you're using?
@@Something2LookAt I had a MOD deck, and they suck on northern turd, and I mean bad. I replaced it with a regular 7 Iron Pro deck shell and am very happy I did it. I have run JD for years and love the 7 Iron, but thought I'd try the MOD. Never again. Though maybe you are referring to the fact that I sometimes run Scag blades under it? It is a 60" instead of 61", but they run the same length blades and they work with the help of a spacer to lower them down some on the spindle. They are the only size Scag deck blades that you can run under a JD.
@@404nitro That's right, the 7 Iron. I had forgotten that name. I hear good things about that deck. Cool that you can run Scag blades. Yea lots of people don't realize that you can run many different blades under these machines. It's fun to experiment.
Ha, yes. So you know about that secret lever, eh? You know, one time I had shifted into high just to drive a long distance. Then for a week I thought the hydros were going bad because it was acting funny while cutting grass. Of course, I had just left it in high for the whole week. D'oh!

Glad you liked it man. :)
There is nothing more satisfying than watching you and that Cheeta gobbling up a grass jungle. Good to see you back in action again.
The best part was the leaves dissappearing! Magic!!
lol, yes. As a lawn service the goal is always to leave the property with nothing. :)
Man you always! make it look simple! Love that sound, Its like music to my ears.
It's the Velocity deck from Scag that's doing it. It is an absolute joy!

Has mowing season fully kicked in for you yet? It's getting close to first mow up here and I figure you get a head start in the south.
Oh yea, we mow year round down here but mowing season doesn't really start until April or May. Then summer in Florida gets crazy...
if u watch it in half speed it makes it almost normal speed for more viewing pleasure 😀
Officially it is rendered at 4x. So normal speed should be the .25x option, I think.

great video! What engine do you have in the Cheetah?
Kawasaki 850V
How much does the size of the engine determine how fine the grass is cut? Is blade tip speed a factor?
