Nice! I got my father in law’s tackle box from early 80s, it had old rapalas, lazy Ike’s, jitterbugs, spoons and more! The box is a 40th anniversary Plano

    Great video

Ok. So that's awesome about the painting on that one. I'd clearcoat over it to protect it.
Those are Plano #8700. Great boxes.
Kinda hit me in the feels, man. I have my dad's last box right by feet at this very moment. We didn't hang out as much as we should have as I grew up. Then he was gone one day. I have a lot of regrets, things I wish we'd have talked about ,stuff I wished I shared with him before I couldn't..
That's life. Live it like you're not going to be around tomorrow when it comes to your family. You never know when you'll be out of tomorrows.

Thanks for watching I appreciate it! Yeah wish I could have changed a few things throughout the years. Still have good memories from being a kid on those fishing trips with Pop. Now I have some pieces from that time period to hold on to. Your right, you never know how much time you have, appreciate what you have. Tight lines and stay safe out there! 👍🎣🐸

That is a Plano tackle box. I had the same model in the 70’s. Largest they made. I had many of those lures. Very nice collection. Please show the Bagleys

Hey Tim…..how are you??!! That was awesome!! Never even heard of the Heddon prowler. Those metal billed one on the second shelf almost look like mud bugs….the ones on top I’ve seen before. The name eludes me…maybe Hellbender??!! That box is great, total old school. And your Uncles journal I love. Every year I try doing that but I get lazy…lol!! Thanks for sharing and that Bagelys unboxing you did a while back was crazy. Even the plastic boxes they came in are cool. I remember my first spinning reel was the Mitchell 300 and that came in a plastic box, still have it and works fine just makes noise when you reel…kind of annoying but back then that’s how they were. Hope you doing well and getting out there. That was great…thanks for sharing. Now if there were 🐸 in there….😂🤣🍻🍻

Thanks for watching Joseph! Always appreciate your support buddy! Yeah I'm glad I got ahold of this box for sure. It's the only one I really remember. Has some cool old stuff in it for sure. I did get some 🐸 in a box awhile ago lol. They were Bill Plummer. I actually collect those, so I still have them. Uncle Larry definitely had a great journal, glad you liked it. I'm going to make a couple more videos with the Skeeter and some other baits. Hopefully all is well with you and your family. Stay safe and tight lines buddy! 👍🎣🐸

I used the exact same tackle box from about 1981 until 2015. It was an awesome main box that I usually kept at home and packed put smaller day or trip boxes from. If take the whole thing only on overnight trips. Kept mine filled with lots of Rapslas, Mepos, Bombers and spinner baits and rigs. Lots of great memories with that box.
