I was giving Fixer plans on my first day by a high level player, This community is unreal
I usually throw a few powerful automatic fixers in the donation boxes each time I'm on.
I was given a fixer in my first twenty mins lmao, randomly joined a team(didn’t even know what teams did) and he dropped it, so I followed him around for about an hour helping him out on quests
Lucky you... all I ever get on fallout 76 is trolled.
@@ImJamieX unfortunately not everyone in 76 is decent, like anything else, however out of the many online multiplayer games I've played the 76 community is one of the best. Stand your ground brother 👍😊

I preordered power armour edition and played like 30 minutes then never touched it again 😂 untill last week and I’ve gotta say I’ve been having a blast
So I was walking around near whitespring station, I forgot I had voice chat on and I was talking to my friend about how the fixer was a really good gun then this guy just walks up to me gives me the fixer and 12 fusion cores

In case it wasn't mentioned in the video: you do, I believe, get a free Fixer upon completing the initial quest tied to the event it drops from.
Yep so you don't even have to do the event initially
It is also level appropriate so save it till you’re 50
You do get one from the quest but even if you do it at 50 the Fixer you get will be lvl 25 so to get a lvl50 you need the plans or someone to make one for you.

I first heard about this weapon while researching commando builds. Went in-game and immediately found a vendor selling 4 of them for 500c each. I'd still like the plans, but I'm happy having just 2 of them for now.

It was actually funny, I like to visit peoples camps and just check it out and this guy was shooting at me, and thanks to all the awesome beginner vids I knew something was up and he might be giving me something. Turns out he was telling me to grab some ammo, so I threw a heart and continued to check out his camp. Jumped in the spa and they joined lol then dropped a six pack gift full of junk, ammo and the fixer!! We then played some instruments together and I said my goodbyes hahaha

Sometimes when I have nothing going on I’m at my camp moving around objects and furniture. a low level will pass through and check out my camp. I would stop what I am doing and make a fixer close to his level w/ An extended mag and a short recon scope to drop in front of them, then send an xbox message that says something like. “happy hunting” or “Hope your reach your ‘ghouls’ in the wasteland” or “Its dangerous to go alone, take this”. And when I’m feeling extra nice, I drop some stimpaks or fusion cores (if they’re wearing power armor).
@@DeucesWild91 perfect. I hope high level players don’t think that we are there just to rob the place haha we are genuinely just curious to see other players creations and get some idea of what’s to come for us as we progress.
One thing I’ve noticed is not many (if any) players use proximity chat, why not?
I feel like I got some crazy luck, I found someone selling a fixed plan in their camp for 5 caps 😂

I got the Plan another way. Someone left it on the ground, shot at it, and walked away. Just started 76 like 2 weeks ago and happened to me in the hallway at the Mall.

I played off and on for over 2 years before I heard or saw anything about the fixer or even the commando build. I did nothing but heavy guns and wasn’t curious about anything else.
When I started to build guns for my vendor, that’s when I noticed the fixer and its stats and figured it was worth checking out. No idea how long I had the plans memorized but there was a short while last year I was doing daily ops pretty regular so likely then.
For newbs this is indeed a great gun. By the time I discovered, even a God roll would be obsolete.
I did this quest and got the fixer plan my first attempt. I was maybe around lvl 30 at the time. Didn't realize how lucky I was until much later. Was surprised how many people showed up when I started the quest.
I got a quad 2525 fixer from the atlantic city boardwalk expedition. From final rewards, thought it was some random fixer until I looked closer at it... I have also given fixer plans to random low levels to include my entire team got one after a random event.
Got my lvl 50 yesterday, so effin pumped! It takes time, just server hop and check player vendors.
I’m a newer player and bought the plan for 5k and got a quad, crit dmg, 25 AP roll on my 5th try. I was freaking out
That’s nuts my friend and I have rolled fixers over 100 times each and haven’t got that roll still😢

Once you get the combat rifle plan you can get them as a reward drop. That's how I got my first one. Had no clue what a Fixer was, being about L22 at the time, so i was carrying it around for a bit till I thought 'I wonder what this does' and went 'HOLY S*IT!' and have used them ever since lol.
You can also change receiver to use up the surplus rounds of .38 ammo you collect during your journey. Even with .38 ammo with anti armour ammo mag its an awesome gun 👍
Had a guy be kind enough to drop the fixer plan for me. Now just need to get it godrolled or if someone's selling it I'll buy it
I have a fixer with 50% pen, 50% crit dmg and 50% less damage taken while aiming and i love it
14 days playing just reached level 115. Did my first 40 legendary rolls today. 1 on each my armor, power armor for nuke zones, and many rolls on railguns. rng nothing exciting 😞... Next step is to acquire this plan; try to get a proper roll for this gun then get SS armor and UA.
Nice, that’s about where I am at also. You doing commando or bloody? I’m going bloody. Just got my mutations today. They are super fun.

Get used to It. I’ve been 3000 hours in game. I’ve rolled over one thousand times and I’ve only gotten a few grolls lol.

finally got my fixer plans after 12 events (8 self craftet), went to my W.crafting bench and craftet 15+4 (Super Duper) just to find out that i burned my mats for nothing :I xDD

Bc the fixer had a permanent effect and was good for the player who is using stealth commando
Im only getting into builds and good weapons in 76 now after playing for ages. Got 3 fixers almost a month ago, have since scrapped and sold 2 and have one left. Thank god I hung onto it

I got the fixer plans around lvl 30 from completing the Oscar Gonzalez quest. Never did the event/quest you are mentioning here.

Hmm I need the fixer plans, guess that's why people sell it for 5000 caps as that will be added to your drop pool... I have an endurance of 1 and bloodied with unyielding stealth armour if something spots you, you are dead but they have to see you first! It also means. I don't need to use Stim packs because you will be dead before you can use it lol and they sell crazy fast at 5 caps each people buy them in the hundreds typically my entire stock, i was thinking of it being more of for lower level guys. I think I might put the price up a little because of demand... maybe 7 or 8 caps.
I love using that weapon for my stealth build. But I think I might go back to single shot. Auto is more fun but it eats up ammo.
I've done the first part of that quest to get the fixer. I just never looked up what I'd get from it. So maybe I should hurry up and finish it 🤣

U love that Railway rifle it's because of you I use my quad explosive Railway rifle and I love it
It can be a solo event, I do it all the time... Just roll yourself a suit (I'm a PA user) of TroubleShooters to cut her damage and then I use a holy fire (I'm a heavy build)... Easy

Between the fixer and railway rifle for commando (no stealth perks), which one is the best?
The plan is not a guarantee drop for this event unless BGS has made a change, so please keep that in mind folks. I've done this event more times than I can think of and the plans have still not dropped for me. Anytime I've seen plans for sale at player camps they are way over priced.
I genuinely need a breakdown on how to build different pipe weapons. I am sure guides exist already, but I generally don't trust anything that is more than a year old for a live service game.
After I went through the hassle of scrapping 60+ Handmade rifles to get the elusive Forceful Stock, not sure whether it's worth bothering with Fixer. How does it compare?

I've been buying the cards from vendors and doing encrypted over and over for the new players and just giving out the plans to the ones who didn't get the plan from the event I have 6 in my vendor for 1 cap each if anyone is still wanting one
So it has a 10% reward chance from encrypted event AFTER completing the mission. I thought I might be unlucky with the rewards, but it turns out I'm just a moron. I'm not even sure if I'd end up using the gun, but the model looks cool in workbench/equipped in first person.

If you're feelin murdery
you can always try and kill all NPC's at the Emmet Mountain Disposal Site. They carry a bunch of Combat Rifles and it took me probably 3 runs until I got the Automatic receiver for the Combat Rifle.

I gave up using fixer, it's nice but it falls apart so quickly 😅 plus 45 ammo seems to be rare early on unless you farm Atlantic city expedition the game show one

whats the build you use for your everyday playing with the railway rifle?
Is there something specific I need to do to get the powerful auto receiver? I’ve scrapped hundreds of combat rifles, and the last 100 or so I have not unlocked any mods after scrapping it. I think the powerful auto receiver is the only mod I’m missing

You mean beast queen? You can trigger the event by launcing a nuke
What serum’s do you use for your bloodied, also any armor recommendations for later game?
Adrenal reaction is the most important mutation, bolstering/unyielding armour depending on if you want to boost DR or special stats, if you’re going for a sneak build covert Scout armour is a good idea, otherwise go for secret service armour

Random question for anyone who knows, but does the gunsmith perk work with energy guns as far as durability goes or am I wasting 5 perk slots for no reason? im tired of my energy weapons breaking mid fight in nuclear events. Please and thank you
Yes, it works with all ranged weapons like make shift warrior does with all melee weapons.
I thinknthey really need to increase the amount larger magazines increase there capacity by 5 rounds is no where enough in most cases.

One of my favorite things to drop for low level players is to drop them a level 20 fixer

Easiest way to get fixer is to be new player and just stand in ur base doing ur stuff and then random player comes to visit and drops bunch of items into ground including level 50 fixer. Thats what happend to me.
I didnt realize this quest would lead to this event and I subsequently failed when I started it during dead server times.
Am I still able to try to summon the boss again?

Bloodied will always be the first perk, yes.

Isnt anti armor not that great since it has armor pen built in and you can give it perforating mag?
any more extra armor pen is always good when facing the elite enemies of the game, unless you're running bloodied.
I think against endgame bosses bloodied loses out vs anti armor but only by a little
