work ethic in japan is something else, almost everyone has pride in what they do. but it’s also how they are raised/schooling, even the office workers taking the train have a very unique way of doing business deals, or even over the phone deals… lots of respect to the japanese honestly

If you want to see just how badly your country does things, go visit Japan where whatever it is you want to compare is done better. They are a remarkable people.
Wait wait...They issued an apology because the train was 20 secs..early. 20 secs EARLY!!!.. I'm here in New York waiting for my 1,243,543,345th apology from the MTA..Our trains are so late they make sure to tell you to " include train delays into your travels.."
Tbh, the American rail system is probably the worst in the west. A sacrifice to the altar of the car. But even here in Europe it can be a total shitshow.
I love how Japan's bullet trains look futuristic wothout being pretentious like Elon Musk's Vegas Loop which are just claustrophobic tunnels for Teslas disguised as "the way of the future".
Anyone wondering why it says "a crew of 22 cleaners" for the entire train? It's because Japanese are known to be clean on their surroundings, the crew mostly do is to just adjust the seats and a bit of finishing touches and train is good for another ride.
America is too primitive to build a proper network for Amtrak. To be fair Amtrak should be 100% HSR with slower trains being suburban trains run by state DOT or local agencies or the power companies
Train in Japan departed 20 seconds early: Massive Public Apology Meanwhile train in my country Arrived 10 minutes late and departed 10 minutes late because of failure: Commit Seppuku
Really it is a nice vlog for one who are joining Railways and it is explained very well. Thank you so much for the vlog and please make a vlog on how does the braking system works on a Japanese bullet train.
@@qwertyuiopzxcvbnm9890 Not all. All trains in Tokaido Shinkansen are the same, so in case anything happens, it is easy to find replacements. Meanwhile in Tohoku Shinkansen there are really specialized trains so it is difficult to replace when delayed.
Where's the ATC? (Shinkansen ATC is not similar to those used in planes; it is a system that controls the train speed, if it detects the train going over, let's say 70 km/h after leaving Osaka, the ATC will automatically apply brakes until the train speed matched the limit.) ATC speeds for the Shinkansen depend on the line it is serving. For trains running west of Tokyo (Osaka, Okayama, Hiroshima, Kokura, Hakata) the original speeds are 0, 30, 70, 110, 160 and 210 km/h. However, an upgrade was made to increase the speed and accomodate newer rolling stock. So the new one is set at 0, 30, 70, 120, 170, 220, 230, 255, 270, 275, 285 and 300 km/h. For trains running east of Tokyo (Omiya, Sendai, Aomori, Kanazawa, Niigata) the speeds are set to 0, 30, 70, 110, 160, 210 and 240 km/h. DS-ATC, a variant of ATC-2, replaced these.
gotta hand it to the japanese. the Danish IC3 can only reach 205 km pr hour (if pushed) usually never exceeds 165-180 on regular basis. The bullet train makes it look like the legoland train
To be fair the IC3 can accelerate twice as fast as some of these trains which is impressive for a diesel and slightly more important for small Denmark.
Japan introduce the bullet train in the 60's. They not only had the foresight but also the engineering prowess. One country understood this well how it will helped the country's economy like it did for Japan. And it is copying the success. China.
Firstly you need to have very skilled, creative and responsible people to project, build and manage the entire system. Japan deals with very harsh conditions: more than 150 earthquakes, 30 typhoons per year, 50 active volcanoes, blizzards in winter, and they keep their trains running clean and in time. It's amazing.
From what I know, the trains are too small for servicing such a dense area in Manila. I believe they are 4-car units? They probably should be 6-cars at the minimum, but I don't think they would fit in the stations at that point. Another issue would be the lack of trains that skip stations (which isn't possible on an LRT) to reduce long distance travel. You guys probably need conventional rail to back up the LRT.
The train left 20 secs early, so people missed the train because it left before it was supposed to. People in Japan basically count in 15 sec increments for the train
Sorry bro but as far as I heard, the Seimens Velaro train family is the world's fastest, at least on normal rails that is. The Seimens Valero trains are German built high-speed trains which can reach up to 320 least the Baurhie 411 can, and other countries such as Britain with it's Eurostar, Chinese high-speed rail, and others throughout the world have adopted the train.
@nervun8097 hard capped to 300km/h because investigations for 360km/h is just too expensive and not worth the increased cost, tohoku shinkansen which planned to go to sapporo 6 years later is conducting tests to clear for 360km/h operation so that it can reach sapporo within 4 hours, which allowed them to capture the lucrative market vs planes, France once planned 350km/h to reach 1000km destination within 3 hours with studies showing passenger tolerance maximum is 3 hours before they started to switch to planes, recently raised to 4 hours so less incentive for 350km/h
In portugal trains have 20 to 40 min delay if they had to make an apology statement on the national tv the woud probably be better off creating a tv channel for it
The long bill of the from allows air to pass more gently. This Tokaido Shinkansen Line has alot of tunnels. When it enters a tunnel, the air compresses and then explodes out the other side. The long bill smoothens this and lowers the sound explosion at the other end.

I think Kanako san wanted to say, "precision beats power, timing beats speed."

The discipline the Japanese have is admirable.
This is unbelievable. They're just fantastic.
man that conductor uniform is beautiful
I like the way how the engine opens all of a sudden
stop scaring people with the 3D section god damn it !
train lore
Shinkansen lore, get real

Same here
Stop lying

In Japan: we must neither be early or late with our supertrains or it is dishonor to families!!!
In USA: our trains will get there when they get there
One of the reason why Japan is more organized than other countries
Is because they know their priorities and building it fast
The hell dude that exploding inside view at the end scared the shit out of me!!
can we appreciate the simulation of video which is very fantastic..this shoul d get more views

They driver looked very nice
The graphics are so realistic , it increased my anxiety lol
Great to see this machine in India very soon with the collaboration with Japanese Gov, many thanks for such transformation help to us Japan ❤️

When western world went crazy about plane, Japan was thinking it's too mainstream. A flying train.
I wasn't ready for 0:33
For all those who think wanting to be a train driver is weird. Imagine driving a plane on land.
Excellent video. Thank you for making this.
japan always amaze me
Respect the punctuality and precision of the Japanese, amazing to say the least....
As an UG in Technology, Japan isn't a country, it's an emotion ;)
Don't bring it down to just Emotion. Why are you getting so emotional ??
That's really good cgi for a short documentary.
