I miss the days of going to in-store appearances where 6-8 piece ska bands were jammed into a tiny, little corner of a little, tiny record shop or coffee house.
RBF is the best for putting up all these ultra rare live shows from the heyday. Would also be great if other bands could follow suit…these VHS tapes are just collecting dust!
Man I musta seen em 5 or 6 times from 97 to 99.. first time in DC IN 97 AT 9:30 CLUB OPENING for bim skala bim..I surfed and accidently knocked over Aaron's mic..almost got kicked out by bouncer..those were the days
I remember the video of Trendy from this show that came with the Keep Your Receipt CD. That was one of my favorite videos for a very long time. I love that there is more of this show.

Was thinking the same thing I bought keep the receipt for unity and got this little gem
I'm sewing my reel big fish patch on my new bag right at the moment!
If this is the closest I’ll ever get to a Time Machine, I’ll take it. Miss seeing RBF live.
my mom was at this performance.
that's crazy bro
back when life was good
The good days. So happy my kids love Reel Big Fish and ska. I have teenagers. Don’t let ska die. Not this guy.
I can't comprehend how much I want them to come to Australia
Thanks for reminding me. I need beer!!!
this rules
The (almost) full performance of this from another angle is available at www.youtube.com/@TropalBand
I remember the jolt era 😬🤪
I was there. No skankin or pittin. I briefly tried to start one. Oh well…
Say what you want about RBF but Aaron is ace on the guitar!
0:16 That little kid is probably over 30 years old now, haha.
I miss Jolt Cola. Whatever happened to that ibanez? (whatever happened to any of the ibanezes...?)
The pre-9/11, pre-social media world
No shame here; JOLT Cola came in a battery shaped can and it fuelled a generation that existed off Orbitz and Pizza with French Fries.
