So cool seeing the old show. I first saw RBF in late 1994 and they mostly played the newer songs. I've seen or heard them from Everything Sucks and some later CDs and DVDs, but I never really saw the original versions played live. I like seeing the progression of some of their songs over the years.
Ill never get tired of watching Matt Wong play. Like i love Derek, hes the best replacement anyone could hope for, but Matt Wong was so vital for the early energy and just how fucking good he is
In 1994 or 95 there was a discussion about music in our math class. Our teacher said her favorite band was Reel Big Fish. Didn't know who ya'll were at the time, and dismissed it. Now I know that my teacher knew more than I did. I was such an elitist metal head back then. Props to that teacher for being cooler than we ever gave her credit for
What year did Tavis join the band? A bit after Scott joined? It's all a blur now. Long Beach Poly HS days ... I was at UCI back then (Tazy was at KUCI)
Ska at its finest. I wish Ska would make a comeback. Gwen Stefani used to be cool, when she was punk Ska with No Dobt. Now, Hollyweird Sell Out. But that's a whole other song.🧐
