I get it. God chose me from the foundation of the world. And I listen to him that he has chosen me I accept that he has chosen me and I trusted him that he is chosen. I believe God knew I would do that even before the foundation of the world.

Commenting here at the beginning before I finish listening. Erwin will no doubt do a fine job of teaching the doctrine of predestination, a blessed comfort after coming to Christ.

Romans 9: the potter (God) from ONE lump made vessels for honored and of the very same lump made vessels for dishonor.
Ephesians 1 calls presdestination "the mystery of God's will or the election of grace." How many that profess they are born again will believe those words?? predestine, foreknew, the called, the chosen, the elect, forechosen...it is only God's election of grace
Jude's makes a reference to those vessels made for dishonor.... who "before of old were ordained to this condemnation, not only of going to Hell, but their walk on this earth.
Pastor I agree with you that it has NOTHING to do with God seeing us trusting Him or chosing HIm to be-come born again....If we would believe that line of thinking, then we would say that his Word speaks lies when the Bible tells us in romans 3 that "there Iis NONE that seeketh after God"...that None is me, you, them.
It is God, the Holy Spirit who brings us to that point in time of our rebirth and gives us the power to hear and believe the Gospel and call out to Our God for mercy and forgiveness within us....because there is nothing in our human flesh that would have anything to do with Our Creator nor call out to HIm. And so we say, in humblesness and awe and thanksgiving and with tears, "whom am I O Lord?" It will never be said in pride or thinking I was good in some way....because we KNOW our sinful flesh.
It is All of God's work which we can never understand. How many of our brothers n sisters in Christ do not believe in the election of Grace, but will believe they have something good in themselves or/and that they 'CHOSE" God to be saved/a work of themselves first. Steve Lawson also speaks a sermon about this subject....For Whom Did Christ Die?"

@@MoodyChurchMedia thank you for the link and have just read and totally agree. back in the early, early 70s I believed in that teaching of "I choose God, because he saw or knew I would choose Him."
I have adult children in their 40s-60s and their children, who are faithful servants in out-of-state kjv Baptist Churches who are remain adament in that traditional teaching,
The NM city I live in, milk of the word is being served up, even in these days before Our Lord's return for us... along with the negativity/rejection at the pulpit about the doctrine of election. Also, I have yet to hear sermons or Sunday School teachings on putting on sackcloth n ashes as our OT examples for our republic or leaders... or even a serious acknowledgement or clarion of the times we are in. ps/ I remember the Moody tracts especially the silouette of a man. thank you and God bless you for your ministry and for being faithful and thankful for the priveledged times we were called to live and be a witness in. Thank YOu Lord.
