@ 10 minutes The holy spirit is not a substitute for Jesus the Holy Spirit brings Jesus to us. Praise the Lord for this truth! This is such an important truth. Because we can come to Jesus as sinners. At any time we may grieve over our sin that caused Jesus to be cast into the fiery furnace of the wrath of God. Oh what Agony the Lord took upon himself for us. The Lord is our helper who helps us through any suffering or pain we have to go through in this life. Therefore we have reason to face this day and we have reason to face tomorrow and we should not give up. Truly there is no sin that He cannot forgive. You can meditate and take on the sufferings of Christ at any time and go to Jesus for forgiveness. What a privilege it is to be alive today. Thank You Lord Jesus!
@@gregorydesousa1365 , Understanding the difference between "grieving" the Holy Spirit and "quenching" the Holy Spirit is the first thing. When you grieve the Holy Spirit, you are doing something that He is urging you not to do. In that case, it would be that you are likely committing some sin, while knowing better. This can lead to a serious loss of joy because your conscience hounds you to repent of whatever sin you are committing repeatedly. (It's uncomfortable, and finding peace is impossible.) I was going through this several months ago, and repented. Part of my loss of peace was me wondering "How can I be saved if I am willingly doing this, knowing it's wrong". You set yourself up for fiery darts to hammer away at you.
@@gregorydesousa1365 , (I have to do this in segments. Won't post otherwise......sorry) Quenching the Holy Spirit is NOT doing what the Holy Spirit is telling you to do. He is trying to lead you, and you are refusing to obey. His power in your life is "quenched". This also will rob you of joy, because our joy and our peace that surpasses all understanding come from the Holy Spirit. (This is also a sin). In both cases, prayer and repentance are vital.
@@gregorydesousa1365 , It is also very important to consider whether your lack of joy is an emotional response to a complaint with God that you might have. In my case, I expected God to do things the way I wanted them done. I was bitter for a good while, and my first reaction was: "I'll leave the faith; I can't trust God to do what I expect" Then a Bible verse came to me..... "Where would I go, to whom could I turn to if I abandon my faith?" (This was a pivotal moment of growth for me) I realized that I had made myself god expecting the Lord to do as I wished rather than the proper attitude.

Awesom!
Only a few human souls are in Heaven right now. When you die you sleep until Jesus calls us when He returns. People need to study the Bible.
What do you do if you grieve the Holy Spirit? Feels like He has departed. I don't know what to do. I have lost my joy.
Did you get the answer to your question?
@davidgraham2673 no,what do you think about it? Your thoughts.
