The more I watch, the more Sultan Murad grows to my heart. He ascended at a very difficult era and at a very young age. Indeed he was a very capable Sultan and if not for these difficult circumstances and his poor health, he would have brought the state back in order and conquered more territory.
Kosem pledging to protect her son as long as she lives. Uncle taking it another way. I mean I get his point but he just looked down on such a fierce vow. So far Suleiman remains the only King who respected his Mother
I have been reading about Murad IV. He was fierce and angry. He accomplished good things in his time, but killed his brothers. He brought Islamic order back by prohibiting smoking and alcohol drinking. But it was ok for him to drink....... still reading about him. I think he was a very interesting young man.
Oh he killed his brothers? I haven't watched that part yet but it's OK ... Eventually I cannot continue watching hours of this night and day, it is not healthy. I will look up and read about all this, I'd like to know the unromanced and true history. So much drama and sorrow....
Looks like they made with budget constraints. In MC first part Suleiman barely fights. Here no bodyguard for Murad. Everywhere he and his bunch of 5 boys fight.
2 big mistakes that princess Farya did, put tge head of the pig n informed ayse of her death sentence. She should talk to sultan Murad abt her mother tread rather follow the evil will.
It’s not really her fault, she wanted to go home but Murad never lets her go. And she wanted to keep her mother’s location a secret but Murad convinced her to trust him tell him & tell him where her mother is. But Murad couldn’t stop traitors in his own palace telling Prince Istvan where she her mother is. And even if Farya wasn’t there, Ayse would have to deal with competition for the sultan from the concubine Afitap. After all its Afitap’d turn to go to the havlet next
how i h9te this character!! is bouring," same as others before , same old expressions/ manners w/ " i want , meaning i don't " ( vice versa) aawwffff 🥱🥱🥱🥱
Yep. LOL nothing had happened between Sultan Murad & the princess when Ayse tried to have her killed, if anything Ayse pushed them together when Ayse tried to get the princess killed as Murad rescued her heroically at the last moment
Princess Farya causes me 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱, like many others before. why did they insist to use those wasting and repetitive fictional characters ? they are bouring, previsibles ..a waste of time! the reality was even much more interesting and rich of elements which they could showed on this serie. things about day by day on trades , more curiosities about that time , history of those paintings, archs , news on kitchen , how things must worked on" schools " that time ,how women did learn languages , writing..,whaterver! i'm tired of those expressions of " i want ,meaning i don't " ,especially in women 💤😴
At last a Sultan that can sort the problems out himself instead of leaving it to others.
Exactly he is the best but cruel at the same time love him my fav sultan❤️♾

Kosems attitude really changed after all that pain. So powerful. Atikes support to his brother is 🔥

The reason he did that was because he struggled with giving up the drink so he saw him killing alcohol dealers as a way to redeem himself.
His drinking ended up killing him according to the show
@@CatherineThornton-c1u According to the show, but in real life the case is something else. He likely was a diabetic.
A very interesting family...
Epic sword fights. The Sultan and his armour bearer are simply extraordinary in battle.

One thing I don't like about Sultam Murad is his misbehavior with Kosem Sultam 😢
Sultan Murad when he fight... remembering me about his Great Great Grandfather.... Yavuz Sultan Selim I
Where Did you see him? Thanks.
@@maruzzella1950 on Magnificent Century
For me he fights like his great grandfather bayazeid
"Obviously, he's here to yell at me." The first time I watched this, I missed the comedic sarcasm.
And Murad brought the princess back.
when Sultan Murad fight make me remember Sehzade Bayezid (Hurrem & Suleyman son).
Yes. They both had that deep anger in them.
@@Pashasmom1well he's been through trauma as a child. Seen osman kill mehmed and osman paraded through the streets being humiliated
This magnificent century is more tense more action 😮
What I don’t like in the show is that when the actress of Kosem change , her personality change too
I don't like this kosem. Unrealistic acting.
Always tilting her chin which is an arrogant manner
I love Kosem’s crowns they are so elegant
Althrough I don't like Atike, I love her friendship with Farya

Kosem aint much lovely as her young days towards Bayezit. Maybe Osman killing Mehmed making her no longer as lovely to every children as before. 😢
For sure they were still only humans like us. There was enough trauma to leave traces on mental health of anyone, especially children.
Exactly.
That's slap though I'm a fan
😂😂😂😂😂
What is kosem taking about Asye made a mistake for love? She deliberately tried to have Faryia killed.
Anastasia unica q no tiene miedo a ningun tirano

Ohhhhhh! First kiss. Finally! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
So, Despina. Is that what is important to you? You'd like to have lived then and be a prisoner in the harem for a kiss from the sultan?
@@Pashasmom1 Wow! You could understand all this in three words and 7 hearts?🤔
Farya looks like Julie Roberts
Farya is prettier than JR as Farya has beautiful lips n Jr have wider lips

Valide kosem sultan with Ayse sultan became like : valide hafsa sultan and mahidevran sultan😒

When she didn't know their son was awake watching. How little Ahmed told his father Murad everything in that one moment
So this woman decided to liase with the enemy? OK HER END IS NEAR
Talking about Ayse, murad's consort?
Sultan Murad has a resemblance to Sahin Giray😅
Love how they smack ayse lol
The present Kosem bothers me a lot, she's arrogant 🙄 unlike the second kosem, very low profile but can kill.
